Just sold all my Baron BPTRX fund. I don't call losing 50% managing a fund. And they charge fees to manage. It would take a few years for this to come back to just where it was. I was doing better before I tried this Mutual Fund. I expect managed funds to cut losses in a bad market just like the money managers do on Wall Street when they go into cash to weather the storm.

Well he nobody can time the market perfectly and that’s what he was trying to say. No matter how smart you are the market is made up of millions of irrational buy and sell orders that may be sometimes detached from fundamentals of picking a great company.
