wow rishadin port has really spiked in 11 years. dug out an old magazine i had from back in 05 after i saw you open that and from 10.00 in 2005 to over 100.00 now......fuck i wish i bought a bunch when they were cheap lol

Karl Emmons please don't just go in for the graphics, actual players need these cards so it's great if them or a collector gets them not someone who "like the graphics"....
Why not John? I collect just for the art, nothing wrong with it.
How is someone who wants cards for the art not a collector? And either way, it's their money, if they want to use it to buy cards for the art then all power to them.

John Owen I just played through two fantastic blocks (wrath cycle and urza block). I went to the prerelease and like every one else I was totally underwhelmed. The best card in the set (port) was just seen as a sub par replacement for wasteland on our sideboard and like we all thought, once masques was released type 2 (now called standard) essentially turned into urza block constructed. I was like "if wizards continues to put out sets like this, they won't last much longer. I might as well cash out while my cards still have some value." well, eventually wizards did start making better sets (obviously not during masques block though) and I came back to the game after I returned from Afghanistan in 2009 (found some cards and asked my then new wife if she would like to learn a game).

That's why I don't do patron. Can we say Burned...they could have given a good card to each person like a $7 one..if you get a zero value that just hurts
well patreon is often just a donation. the cards may be meant as just a bonus
Stop crying. What do you mean, burned? Literally any one of the patrons could have got a $100 card. Patreon is a donation above all else and they all get a chance at insanely valuable cards plus cool videos. Why on earth would they give each person a $7 card?
youre not guaranteed a card, patreon is to support them its just a bonus
