Jugram acts cold, but you can tell that he cares about Bazz. From telling Hubert that he will be watching him after he says he is going to beat up Bazz, to him trying to get Bazz to stop fighting in the present. Then, when he has killed Bazz, his face is hidden but the blood running down his face looks like a tear and his walk looks uneven and shambling. Also, the fact that Bazz admits that losing to Jugram does not feel as bad as he thought it would, and him thinking back to him saying that they would become the strongest Quincy together, shows that a part of Bazz is happy that one of them accomplished their childhood dream. Bazz and Jugram are meant to be a reflection of Ichigo and Uryu and their friendship, but in this case how it ended in tragedy.
I don't agree with the last part tbh, they dont represent ichigo and uryu, but friends are a big aspect in this arc and the different outcomes that come with loyalty vs friendship
@@evichibell8355 Just until you notice that Jungram was born one day before Ishida and Bazz B one day before Ichigo. And that Bazzard Black and Kuro (black in Japanese) share the same last name.
13:54 Yhwach at first probably was as weak as Jugram was. He stated that he let other people grow in power through his unique ability that allows him to share powers and then he just took all of that back after the power reached its potential, which probably allowed him to grow stronger and use Quincy techniques he couldn't use before. Basically it's like he planted a seed in the soil, let it mature, and then plucked and took it back once it had turned into a fully grown plant. That's how the Auswahlen works too.
@@elishaj2977 I am pretty sure Yhwach is only 1200 or so years old. He never lived in the primordial world. Quincies existed even before he came into existence called Echt or pure breed quincies. Yhwach was probably called the father of the quincies mainly because he was the first one of the quincies that could give quincies power and even make others a quincy (half breeds or gemischt).
@@vn9574 there are some scenes of him in the primordial world with his father. Pretty sure he was alive back then and then reincarnated when the worlds were separated.
The switch up from Jugram was sudden but it also makes sense, as Bazz B pitied Jugram and told him he was weak and that he needed him, similar to his abusive uncle. But Yhwach said he needed Jugram instead, and he showed Jugram his value and importance, unlike Bazz B who always looked down on him and took pity on him. So not only Yhwach killed Jugram's abusive uncle, but also treated him better than Bazz B in that particular instant.
You certainly cannot compare the uncle with Bazz since Bazz actually didn’t bring Jugram only for his own sake, his uncle wanted to enjoy himself while Bazz yes wanted assist with revenge but also actually cared for Jugram like a friend, he tried motivate him, he gave him that rabbit and that emblem to remember that he has Bazz with him. Bazz thought Jugram had good relationship with his uncle which was wrong and thought he wanted as much as revenge as Bazz did so Bazz was there to help Jugram out, getting strong and waiting for him even if he was thought it won’t benefit him much. Bazz last thought was about Jugram on how they gonna become the strongest Quincies together and that Jugram is with him/his underling, Bazz is from a noble family so him saying underling most likely meant someone he would be willing to be there for. So he did see Jugram more than just a tool for his revenge. Bazz is not a bad friend neither is a good one, he’s an average friend who just priorities his own stuff over others which makes sense. Jugram didn’t have anything except Bazz until Yhwach came so he chose Yhwach over Bazz after seeing that Bazz expression but it was Bazz’s revenge so you can’t blame Bazz
@HitmanSkip I never blamed Bazz nor did I think he was similar to Jugram's uncle, I just said he was similar in that particular aspect of telling Jugram that Jugram needed in him, which is exactly what his uncle told him too. I know Bazz B genuinely thinks Jugram as a friend and cares for him, but he also pitied him like I said. He even stated that bringing along Jugram is a bad idea since he had no talent, but he still did because Jugram was training and working hard for their goal, which is pity to an extent. He never really gave that value and importance to Jugram that Yhwach did. Yes, he was caring for him in his own way, but in Jugram's eyes, Yhwach saying he needed Jugram just made him feel better. Plus the way Bazz B looked at Jugram further solidified it.
@ vn9574 I definitely agree that Bazz-B pitied Jugram while genuinely caring for him and viewing him as a friends, but I don’t view him bringing Jugram along and not leaving him him as pity. I viewed it as acknowledging that while he thought bringing him along was a bad idea due to him not really getting stronger, how could he just leave him behind when he sees that he’s trying so hard to improve, even harder than him? I saw it as him acknowledging that Jugram is working hard and respecting it. And that he would never have abandoned him
That night Yhwach invaded, it was the [worst] day for Bazzard Black his family got massacred, and it was the [best] day for Jugram Haschwalth his uncle was murdered. A single event that happened meant 2 different things for these Friends, this was amazing writing from Tite Kubo. Especially the Parallels between Uryu & Jugram being the successors Loyalty being tested by killing their Best Friends [Ichigo & Bazz-B] who seek revenge against his Majesty. One successor committed the killing blow and the other successor didn't go through it, amazing Set-Up for a Battle.
Dope reaction and review as always. I like how you clocked on to certain things in this episode. And I'm glad to hear that your situation has eased up a bit 👊🏿
Theres something right about Bleach Sundays with TheRugrats lol. This episode was such a masterpiece. You can almost imagine an entire anime with Jugram and Bazz's background story alone. it was so well done for just one ep.
Me personally, I love Bazz-B. He’s one of my favorite Sternritter and seeing the downfall of his friendship with Jugram was absolutely heartbreaking. They both were responsible for the downfall of their friendship, but they were actually friends. This episode was just heartbreaking. I shed a tear or two. Definitely the best episode of the Cour so far.
First creator that actually thinks about yoing jugo's perspective instead of simply feeling bad for bazz b. Especially with how jugo felt after how bazz looked at him. Bro is smart when watching and thats why i been subbed to this channel 20:53 just wanted to correct you about this misunderstanding. Yhwach does not choose what power each person gets. He can see the power/schrift on each persons body(kinda like ichibei knowing your bankai name before you) and his blood helps unlock them. In that sense he is also bringing out the potential in them and "giving them power" just like jugo. Yhwach is just a lot more experienced/powerful than jugo
Not true, Yhwach sees the letter of the Schrift on the person as if it was there not that it actually was (which was explained exactly as that in the Manga). What Ichibei does is sees what it actually is out right. These are 2 different things. Yhwach sees what will come out of it despite it not being there while Ichibei just sees what is actually already there from jump. Yhwach is Prior while Ichibei is Former. Multiple times in multiple episodes especially with this episode reaffirming it that Yhwach doesn't "unlock" powers he flat out gives them it. They never use the word "unlock" or anything related to the word to suggest that he actually unlocks something. They always say the word Give, you can't "give" someone something they already have. 13:42 - 13:48 states give not unlock and then Yhwach himself makes it clear towards Bazz-B at 14:33 - 14:56 on what exactly he means. Once again saying gives not unlocks.
@kaimobley5324 the whole thing about the schrift already being on the Quincy from before was from an answer kubo gave on the Klub outside QnA. I'll find it and link it here later. That would also explain why yhwach does not gain every schrift ability once the stern Ritter die. I am not saying exact but this is what I remember from the QnA. "Yhwach is able to see the schrift engraved on the Quincy's body and his blood activates it"
@@kaimobley5324 Yhwach gives a part of his reiryoku to sternritters which awakens the innate schrift ability and then he bestows the letter of that schrift. he essentially giving them a huge boost in power not a new ability, the ability is already present in them.
@Hossam0003 like I said in the Manga it states Yhwach can see the Schrift Letters "as if it was there". Seeing something "as if it was there" vs seeing it actually there are 2 different things. I rechecked the Q&A and even had someone else who knew Japanese reread all the questions about Yhwach and he even confirmed that there's nothing in the Q&A that says Yhwach verbatim or specifically "unlocks" other Quincy's abilities months ago. Even with Auswählen Kubo makes it clear that it does indeed take everything including the Schrifts but there's was a reason why Bazz-B and others still were able to use theirs. Yhwach even took Ichibei's Black Ability with a Quincy Spell. He has a variety of ways he can take from others.
@@ikuzo5847 like I said in the Manga they explained it that Yhwach sees the Letter "as if it was there" not sees it there already. Seeing something as if it was there is different then seeing it already being there. Even in the Manga it's explained that if Quincy were lacking Courage he'd give it to them, if Quincy were missing Body Parts he'd give it to them. You can't unlock someone missing Courage let alone Body Parts. Even in this very episode they reaffirmed that Yhwach gives them powers not "unlocks" those powers. You can't give someone something they already possess. Those are 2 different words with different meanings for a reason. 13:42 - 13:48 Yhwach says gives not unlocks, 14:33 - 14:56 he again states gives not unlocks and even went further into detail on it and how him and Jugram are still different with it
The strain in Jugram and Bazz-B’s friendship really came from them not valuing their friendship with each other enough. Bazz-B didn’t value Jugram enough to be happy for him due to his superiority complex, and Jugram didn’t value Bazz-B enough to not abandon him.
21:02 yhwach gives quincy power, they collect reishi over time (because yhwach can't) and those Quincy get stronger. then yhwach will use aushwalen and take it back, which is more than what he originally gave. It's like he's investing. also regarding schrifts, they're not originally yhwach's. This is a big misconception in the community, he's not just giving them weird abilities out of the blue, but he can see the letter assigned to Quincy and essentially unlock that ability for them. For example, As Nodt's "The Fear" was assigned by as nodt's fear of dying, yhwach just unlocked it for him. Same thing likely applies to bazz b and "the heat" likely due to his burning personality/rage for revenge or seeing his home burn down
Not true, Yhwach sees the letter of the Schrift on the person as if it was there not that it actually was (which was explained exactly as that in the Manga). As Nodts Fear is what the Schrift is based just like Rroyd & Lloyd's love of mimicking people is what their Schrifts are based on but they never had that actual power that actual Schrift already. Multiple people in Bleach have been afraid but we don't have multiple people with fear abilities. Same thing with Rroyd & Lloyd.
@@kaimobley5324 the examples you gave never imply schrifts at all. they're just referring to base quincy abilities like reishi and quincy weapons. Going back to as nodt for example, he unlocked his potential for his schrift by fearing death, which yhwach sees that letter and engraves it into them which allows the Quincy to use that schrift. yhwach doesn't just coincidentally have an ability called "the fear" and just so happens to give it to a Quincy who has a fear of dying. this likely applies to bazz b with "the heat" and every other sternritter. All the schrift reflect each personality/experience for a reason
@@oliverfletcher8535 yes it actually does. Without Yhwach none of the other Quincy would've gotten their Schrifts. We see with Uryu he had to drink Yhwach's Blood to get it and even Lillie Barro stated himself to be the first one Yhwach gave powers to. The Manga explained it also by saying "if the Quincy were missing Courage Yhwach would give it to them, if the Quincy were missing Limbs he'd give it to them". That in itself makes it clear Yhwach is indeed giving not unlocking. You can't unlock things that are missing let alone Body Parts. Just like in the Manga it states Yhwach saw the Letters of the Schrift "as if they were there". Seeing something "as if they were there" vs seeing something actually there are 2 different things entirely. For example a Mirage or Illusion is something that seems "as if it's actually there" but someone putting a can of soda in front of you is seeing it actually there. As Nodt fearing death is the Characteristic of how his Schrifts became what it was not it actually being what it was all along. Just like Rroyd & Lloyd loving to mimic others is a Characteristic. Anyone can fear death and anyone can mimic people but just bcus you do so doesn't mean that's what you're actual power is out right. Just like how the Soul Reapers "pour their soul" into an Asuachi to turn it into a Zanpakuto not the Asuachi already being a Zanpakuto out right.
@@kaimobley5324 Royd and loyd had their schrift's from birth, and every other sternritter got their power unlocked by yhwach, and not given. If that wasn't the case, then why did yhwach never get their powers back? Why would he give A to ishida?
@@blacklung7474 Rroyd & Lloyd didn't have their Schrifts from birth nor did any other Quincy. Uryu got his Schrift from Yhwach and even Lillie Barro admitted that he was the first Yhwach gave powers to. Even in the Manga when going over Yhwach giving powers it says when the Quincy were missing Courage he gave it to them and if the Quincy were missing Limbs he'd also give it to them. You can't "give" someone something they already have. You can't unlock someone's courage let alone a missing Body Part. In multiple episodes and even in this very own episode when Yhwach himself explains and even while comparing himself to Jugram he says give not unlock. Giving and Unlocking are 2 different things, 2 different words with different meanings. Just like in the Manga it explains Yhwach can see the Letter of the Schrift "as if it was there". That "as if" part makes it clear the Letter isn't actually there but the perception of it is. Like Illusions and Mirage's they seem "as if they're real" but they aren't. Yhwach does get their powers back as he reclaims what he gave originally. He even says so in this episode. He reclaims things in multiple different ways from Quincy dying like we see with James, From him using Quincy Spells like he did with Ichibei and even Auswählen which Kubo explained himself in his own Klubhouse Outside Q&A on how Auswählen works and admitted that the Medallions the Quincy used to steal Bankai have a portion of Auswählen in them. This stuff is easily explained both in the Manga, TYBW Anime and by Kubo himself personally. Y'all just don't pay attention or look.
1.57 It’s nice to see someone noticing and talking about this detail. You were also the one who noticed and analyzed the smallest details in the Lille Barro episodes and other things too. I’m glad I found this channel, even if it’s a bit late
Studio pierrot on a seasonal basis, is one of the goats If these guys decide to remake, naruto, bleach, tokyo ghoul, yu yu hakusho on a seasonal basis, the amount of resources they could get, simply because of the big IPs they have. That's an insane dream for old gen anime fans like usg 😊
I think the swapping powers thing between Jugram and Yhwach works like this: Both are able to share powers, so they share their own powers with each other. Jugram doesn't bring out the inner talent of someone like you stated, he can genuinely just share powers like Yhwach said. What I think Jugram did to Bazz B was give him more raw power which amped up Bazz B's own techniques/abilities. Basically a power up. At that time, Yhwach said Jugram didn't know how to take his own powers that he had shared to someone else back to himself, which implies it is possible for him to learn how to do that later on.
15:14 Young Haschwalth did that to protect Bazz B, just like what Rukia did for Ichigo in Substitute Shinigami arc. They both would've been killed by Yhwach/Byakuya if they didn't stop.
This episode made me appreciate my friends more. You can tell jugram didn't want to do it. I never noticed how parallel uryu and ichigo are to bazz b and jugram. Ichigo and bazz b birthday is 1 day apart Same for uryu and jugram 1 day apart from each other as well. Bazz b and jugram is what uryu and ichigo could've been if it was a negative friendship.
Yeah and (manga spoilers) Notice how Jugram's fortune was Bazz B's misfortune (which is Yhwach recruiting him and making Bazz B suffer) indicates his schrift B 'The Balance '. Similarly Uryu's schrift A 'Antithesis' which symbolises Ichigo and Uryu's dynamics Amazing writing Kubo is one the top G's fr
Bazz B was a prodigy being the only Quincy his age to be able to create a Heilig Bowgen which is something he could do even before he met Jugram Bazz B was not only wounded from Auswahlen but lost a lot of power from it removing also his Vollstandig. Considering he was able to fight 1 on 1 with a royal guard and actually be able to land a hit that actually caused damage in such a state proves he truly was a prodigy but Ywhach denounced all of his efforts and talent by saying it was all Jugram.
I believe the only visible weakness for Yhwach , is he needs to sleep . So basically when he close his eyes and sleep , that's his weakest state as he can't see the future. Thus he needs Jugram as "power keeper" , as Yuha can share and take it back, but Jugram can only give whatever he has , hence the other half of me line
yeah i have a theory that Jugram might do something to his almighty while Yuha is asleep that is the only way i can see our protagonists getting past his ability
Remember when Jugram said to Cang du “that fortune will be removed with the same amount of misfortune” before killing him? Keep that in mind in regards to Jugram’s power & also how that tied back to this backstory
Jugram already used his schrift during the first invasion , the execution of cangdu and BG9 and during the battle of squad zero jugo used his schrift to broke the cage of squad zero - remember hikifune mention that she didnt know what knd of ability jugram used to destroy the cage? Next episode jugram scrift will be explain. Also in this episode jugo show a his feat on how strong he is - everyone is crawling cuz of yuhaba reatsu make everyone eat dirt on the ground while jugo remained standing take note he is just a kid back then.☝
So, from what I understand, the difference between Jugram and Yhwach is simply that Yhwach was directly born from the Soul King whereas Jugram is an incarnation of Yhwach's leftover essence. We saw Yhwach as a whole being back before Adnyues separated the worlds, so I believe that Yhwach was reincarnated into the Living World imperfectly. He didn't have his full being, hence why he has to absorb power from other Quincies (this will be further elaborated later). So, both Jugram and Yhwach were born without the ability to inherently absorb Reishii. However, Yhwach regains the parts of his soul when the person dies, allowing him to bypass that restriction and function as a normal Quincy. He gains the powers of those he absorbs. Jugram has the power to give out strength but not take it back the same way Yhwach does. Notice that we don't see Jugram use any inherent Quincy abilities throughout the arc.
Yoo, Dutch here so i can understand German, Heilig = holy, in Dutch too. Bogen = bow. (just boog in Dutch) Uryu's 'Licht Regen' literally just means Light Rain
21:01 Yhwach is basically a loanshark of Quincy abilities. He can give you the money to start a business, you made it successful, then he'll take the successful business for himself. Whereas Jugram can also give you money but he's not good at asking\collecting payments 💀😊
No wait, my guy, you're misunderstanding what scrifts are Each schrift of an individual sternritter did not come from Juha originally, it was always there in the "soul" of the quincy By inscribing a "letter" onto their soul by making them drink his blood, Juha gives them a spiritual pressure buff to draw out that latent ability already present in the soul of the quincy For example, Bazz B is extremely hot headed, therefore the schrift he gains was H for heat, reflecting his personality Same with someone like As Nodt, a person who lived life scared of everything, resulting in him getting the letter F for fear, drawing out his ability Basically, Juha's version of sharing powers is a much advanced version of Jugram's
The difference between Yhwach and Jugram is that Yhwach was able to share his power and he said that he can receive back those that he shared, and he was able to become more powerful as those shared powerd comes back to him. (Giving the details that was already mentioned in the anime, more will be said in the future though, they skipped a part in the manga, idk when they will insert it in the anime)
Just 20/10 episode, easily on my top 3 best episodes of Bleach. Bazz is just a really good character, I like how he wasn't made just like an aggressive asshole and extremely egocentric, of course he have a big ego, but he's sincere. When Jugram said he was useless, Bazz pointed out to him that he's normal, as in their age no other kids could easily do the bow and arrows like himself. Also, amazing how they make us think Bazz was considering Jugram just as a friend, they kinda made us think Bazz would protect Jugram if needed, but when Ywhach chooses Jugram as his "heir", we see that Bazz considered Jugram as a friend, but also kept him along for his own ego, he wanted such a weak person beside him so he could feel like the "superior" one, the genius he always called himself. Jugram is amazing, the thing with his uncle's isn't just something they did to "look, his past is sad, feel bad for him immediately!", it plays a really important role on his character. His uncle says "you're nothing without me..." And abuses him, and it probably was like that for his whole life. And Ywhach in the future says "I need you Jugram...", basically makes it perfect alongside the fact that indirectly Ywhach killed Jugram uncle, it makes the perfect reason for him to go to Ywhach side. I also love how they didn't throw the fact that his uncle was Diddy on him, they made enough for us to see it, but they didn't simply throw uncomfortable scenes of exposition, it just took some words and it was done... And I think Bazz actually wanted to die by Jugram hands because of his final words... I think that after Ywhach shattered his ego and showed he wasn't a genius and wasn't even stronger than the guy he believed was the "weakest", his objective wasn't kill Ywhach, he only used it as an excuse, he actually wanted to fight Jugram, knowing he would die... I think when he said his final words, he meant, that his death would be "worse", but he actually just dies with a smile, he was happy by dying, mostly from his friend hands. And is perfect the fact they showed Jugram was sad about killing Bazz without exaggerating anything, his demeanor changed, he wasn't so composed, his eyes wasn't really being showed, and in the fight, the first time he express some emotion it is something like frustration, wanting to stop the fight while calling Bazz by his full name, he didn't want to kill Bazz at all... And in the final poem, he saying there's no pain if he just keeps his eyes on the balance, while the illustration above is of his eyes and the color blue popped, symbolizing tears... Just amazing, I loved every second of the episode...
Just to clarify, yhwach doesn't give the sternritter's powers like the fear or the heat. These are power they already had, but couldn't use, and yhwach gives them what they lack, which in turn unlocks their powers. He can give power itself, but not the abilities the bazz-b's fire, which is the reason for why he still has it after getting sucked up.
I think it was more a cse of Bass just awakening shit faster than others. His continued rate of growth was because of Jugram, not necessarily his own talent. There is also the idea that Yhwach is straight up bullshitting there in order to manipulate Jugram onto his side... so we have to take everything he says with a grain of salt.
Yeah jugram’s schrift is B for the balance, basically it’s like if good luck happens on the good guy’s end then Jugram can counter that with bad luck thus keeping everything balanced which is why they showed the scale when cang du blocked his attack (that was his good luck) then Jugram countered it by using the balance which is how he killed him and when yhwach goes to sleep Jugram gets the almighty while he’s sleep he’s basically his eyes 24/7 and something crazy is that it took me 10+ years to realize that Bazz’s schift begins with H (haschwalth) and Jugram’s begins with B (bazz) and their birthdays are the same as ichigo and uryu 🔥, kubo knows how to long term story tell fr and BleAcH with B standing for bazz b and the H standing for Haschwalth with the A in the middle being yhwach which represents him being in the middle of their friendship
I mean the Auswahlen wasn't a guaranteed death for all quincies, as some others survived too. I think quincies who were already strong before Yhwach gave them even more power simply survived due to that reason. They had some strength to spare.
@@vn9574Kubo explained in his Klubhouse Outside Q&A how Auswählen works. He said that the Older Generation gets attacked by it first then works its way down to the most/least Talented and then the Younger Generation. But the Older Generation flat out is hit first. Auswählen has a certain amount it has to absorb before giving to the Quincy that are worthy. But the Younger Generation are more resistant to it which is why for Bazz-B, GiGi, Liltotto etc only experienced a portion of their abilities taken instead of the whole thing entirely like the other Quincy. Which is why they still have their Schrifts
Hoping to see my theory that Ichigo is the same type of Quincy as Yhwach and Jugo confirmed.... all his friends BECAME spiritually aware over time and as HE got stronger, none were born that way, even the "fullbring" ones weren't prior to their relationship with Ichigo, and all the other fullbringers from the fullbring arc were getting attacked by Hollows/ spiritually aware from a much younger age then Chad and Orihime, and Ichigo is a Hybrid Quincy closer to the soul king then Ywatch or Haschwalth so power he gives out may be more like Fullbring powers than Quincy ones... plus ishida’s bow/arrow was buffed by touching Ichigo. And Shun shun Rika said ichigo’s power was responsible for them developing. He also started displaying Quincy powers pretty much as soon as two Quincy's he hit with energy attacks ( and thus took in his spiritual power) were killed by other people, these being Ebern and Quilge. As soon as Quilge dies Ichigo began to absorb the Jail almost like he was suddenly able to absorb Reishi like a Quincy.... he couldn't absorb Quilge's reishi the way a normal Quincy would prior to his Quincy powers actually being active, so absorbing the "Jail" CAN'T be what activated them. i think Ichigo and Yhwach probably split Quilge and Eberns power 50/50 since they would have died with both of their spiritual energies in them, and after absorbing one full "Quincys" worth of powers/experience, suddenly Ichigo's use Blut like a pure blood.... like Quilge...
Maybe, but unlike the other two, Ichigo was able to manifest a weapon of his own. It wasn’t a bow, but it was definitely a sword he was able to materialize from nothing.
@@justinrivera1618 jugram was unable to use outside reishi, ichigos sword was made by his own spirit energy, otherwise every sword would be that big as everyone would have the same amount of energy to make one, near infinite.
@ he has all races powers AND an injection of Rukia’s Shinigami power, expecting his power sharing abilities or ANY of his abilities to be the same doesn’t make sense (plus he has a Quincy spirit unlike other Quincy), when even Yhwach and Jugo’s work slightly different and they are both presumably pure Quincy
This backstory kinda shows that all the quincies didn't just follow Yhwach ever since he was born, as he had to conquer areas in Licht Reich (which I assume was the place quincies lived in before Wandenreich was made). I guess Bazz B's clan didn't surrender to Yhwach's rule and got wiped out due to it.
8:41 You're right about the elite guard being called something with "S" but I'm not gonna spell it out because it has something to do with the Austrian painter. You can google it though, it's S, maybe double? 💀
btw Sternritter is the name of Schrifted Quincy army however royal guards are called schutzstaffel which has not been mentioned in the anime probably because of its n*zi connection
The royal guards are called Schutzstaffel. Btw Schutzstaffel originally was a name used for Hitler personal guards. Since the quincies are German influenced so it makes kind of sense.
4:00 - 4:05 It's not really clear but that's part of what we speculated for years when the Chapter came out. What GiGi does was more obvious with multiple connections but either way Jugo without a doubt is being abused. Even the Manga panel makes it more plausible his Uncle is on that Diddy stuff but with the voice switch up the Uncle has in the anime at 4:39 - 5:04 to me solidifies it.
I low key think that deep down, Bazz-B knew he wasn’t going to win this fight. That’s why he wasn’t really mad that Jugram beat him. And he just taunted him to fight as a way to be around him because he actually viewed him a a friend and was still trying to be friends. 🥺
honestly I did not remeber Jugo to no diff BazzB that brutally from my time back in the day reading the manga :D BazzB used everything he had in his arsenal and got 0 feats why Jugo didnt even want to fight and used the bare minimun efort to kill BazzB. Wow thats savage.
I didn't remember a single thing from this fight before this episode, but I'm glad because this episode definitely made this story more memorable for me
As cool as Bazz-B is, dude is kind of a lame friend. Whole time he forces his goal onto Jugram but never realized Jugram had no reason to beef with Yhwach. In fact, Yhwach is the reason he’s free of his sicko uncle.
Not like Jugo ever tried to explain it to him. Bazz B grew up with a loving family he probably never considered the idea that some people don't have that due to him living a sheltered life.
Yhwach can use bow and arrow after He absorb the power from other Quincy after he share his power with them. That how He can use it. In the beginning He Cannot do anything.
Jugram didnt even use his shrift against Bazz B just showing theres levels to this shit 😂 it was brutal too. This episode will pay off alot in the next episode without going into manga spoilers. Jugram's shrift is B the Balance but ill let you see what it does for yourself. And the switch is powers is when Yhwach sleeps his Allmighty ability and eyes go to Jugram. 1hr episode next week!
Lowkey, the jugo and bazz situation was kinda like Anakin and Mace windu. Ywach had important things to tell jugo while bazz wanted him dead. Palpatine had important things for anakin but windu wanted him dead.
His Uncle was definitely on some Diddy shit. If you look at the Manga panel it looks mad sinister thus why he is always looking so dead inside. Dark ass anime fs.
13:42 - 13:48 This reconfirms and solidifies for those still trying to say "Yhwach DoEsN't GiVe PoWeRs, He JuSt UnLoCkS tHeM 🥴" is purely FALSE. Yhwach GIVES powers. You can't "give" someone something they already have. The Manga has been explained how it works, The TYBW has reconfirmed it and even Kubo HIMSELF explained it in his Klubhouse Outside Q&A. There's even a Prime Example in the very episode itself 14:33 - 14:56
He at least could get Jugram to get serious, it could be like Uryu vs Renji type of fight, because Auswallen is a crazy nerf(no Vollstandig and Sklaverai)
Uncle:You need me Jugo.
Bazz:You need me Jugo.
Yhwach:İ need you Haschwalt.
You know, I gotta give Bazz some credit, he got absolutely cooked. But unlike 90% of the people in this show who get cooked, he at least admitted it.
Kinda similar to lille last episode. "OH yeah, you did say that it could reflect power of god"
Then dies lmao
Bro came into the fight knowing he would lose to when he said "I thought I'd feel worse losing to you"
13:54 Yhwach at first probably was as weak as Jugram was. That's how the Auswahlen works too.
you're right but for more context he started out as a literally baby who couldn't move, see, speak or hear, he was essentially a husk
I mean at first, when he was ejected into the life and death cycle. Before that Yhwach in the primordial world aged normally.
@@justinrivera1618 Could be possible, since he's Soul King's direct creation.
In yhwach's attack, to Bazz B it's a loss, to Jugram it's freedom 💔
@@vn9574 yea now it makes sense on what u said, then yea I agree
Both you numbskulls have nothing as your pfp you part of some kind of organization?
@ vn9574 I definitely agree that Bazz-B pitied Jugram while genuinely caring for him and viewing him as a friends, but I don’t view him bringing Jugram along and not leaving him him as pity. I viewed it as acknowledging that while he thought bringing him along was a bad idea due to him not really getting stronger, how could he just leave him behind when he sees that he’s trying so hard to improve, even harder than him? I saw it as him acknowledging that Jugram is working hard and respecting it. And that he would never have abandoned him
You're on point with the Jugram and Ishida dynamic!
Yhwach's Royal Guards are called the Schutzstaffel, and also the Elite Stern Ritters.
11:25 the spiritual pressure effect 🔥
royal guard: schutzttaffel
star knights: sternritters
Bro is smart when watching and thats why i been subbed to this channel
20:53 just wanted to correct you about this misunderstanding.
Sternritter: Yhwach exercit

Ichigo and bazz b birthday is 1 day apart
Same for uryu and jugram 1 day apart from each other as well.
Bazz b and jugram is what uryu and ichigo could've been if it was a negative friendship.
Yeah and (manga spoilers)
Notice how Jugram's fortune was Bazz B's misfortune (which is Yhwach recruiting him and making Bazz B suffer) indicates his schrift B 'The Balance '. Similarly Uryu's schrift A 'Antithesis' which symbolises Ichigo and Uryu's dynamics
Amazing writing
Kubo is one the top G's fr
10:02 levi is quincy😂
😭💙❤
Bazz B was a prodigy being the only Quincy his age to be able to create a Heilig Bowgen which is something he could do even before he met Jugram
Bazz B was not only wounded from Auswahlen but lost a lot of power from it removing also his Vollstandig.
“WOAH” that mf sniped her ahh😂😂
Remember when Jugram said to Cang du “that fortune will be removed with the same amount of misfortune” before killing him? Keep that in mind in regards to Jugram’s power & also how that tied back to this backstory
Just so you know we already saw Jugram's ability during cour 2
He killed Bazz B using a sword from his families clan too, it was probably the only other thing besides Bazz B to survive Yhwach's attack.
4:43 now we know why he hates being called Jugo 😢
(just boog in Dutch)
Uryu's 'Licht Regen' literally just means Light Rain
young Jugram is voiced by Armin's voice actor lol
Jugram thought it was DBZ
“let’s take it elsewhere” face ahh
That was a great analysis! All I can say is that you won't be disappointed for the next two episodes next week
Took your time on this One gang 😅
21:01 Yhwach is basically a loanshark of Quincy abilities. He can give you the money to start a business, you made it successful, then he'll take the successful business for himself. Whereas Jugram can also give you money but he's not good at asking\collecting payments 💀😊
No wait, my guy, you're misunderstanding what scrifts are
Each schrift of an individual sternritter did not come from Juha originally, it was always there in the "soul" of the quincy
By inscribing a "letter" onto their soul by making them drink his blood, Juha gives them a spiritual pressure buff to draw out that latent ability already present in the soul of the quincy
For example, Bazz B is extremely hot headed, therefore the schrift he gains was H for heat, reflecting his personality
Same with someone like As Nodt, a person who lived life scared of everything, resulting in him getting the letter F for fear, drawing out his ability
Basically, Juha's version of sharing powers is a much advanced version of Jugram's
Jugrams schrift is B (balance) while bazz b's shrift is H (heat). That was cute kubo
I this channel and content.
To be fair Bazz B was a prodigy from a childhood, his fast growth is both his own talent and Jugram influence
@@lo4tr "awakening shit faster than others" is basically being more talented than the others, you just rephrased it in the different way
He was talented but not a prodigy. Bazz is like that kid who is the fastest in his hometown but gets humbled
Don't spoil it for him. His Schrift hasn't been introduced properly in the anime yet.
@ I mean he basically has a good idea of it already from what he was explaining in his video
@@nickmclellon2729 Not really, all he knows is that Jugram's power has something to do with the balance scale he used on Cang Du.
Delete ur fucking comment.
U just spoiled like everything.
Don't spoil shit even if he has a vague idea
I just understood why Bazz-B didn't just die from Yhwa's Auswählen like the rest of the Sternritter. Damn.
As long as I keep my eyes on the scales, call back to when he killed the iron skin dude. Anime extended fight next week for sure

damn yhwach could have captured soul society but ichibe sealed his eyes
This is like Ishida vs Ichigo but it’s at the end of Arrancar arc
This backstory kinda shows that all the quincies didn't just follow Yhwach ever since he was born, as he had to conquer areas in Licht Reich (which I assume was the place quincies lived in before Wandenreich was made). I guess Bazz B's clan didn't surrender to Yhwach's rule and got wiped out due to it.
8:41 You're right about the elite guard being called something with "S" but I'm not gonna spell it out because it has something to do with the Austrian painter. You can google it though, it's S, maybe double? 💀
Man I wanted to a see burner finger 10 rip
My man gonna shrug off Yhwach’s spiritual pressure😂
bro said he looks like armin, and that he sounds familiar back to back and didnt realize it was armins voice actress
😭
btw Sternritter is the name of Schrifted Quincy army however royal guards are called schutzstaffel which has not been mentioned in the anime probably because of its n*zi connection
The royal guards are called Schutzstaffel. Btw Schutzstaffel originally was a name used for Hitler personal guards. Since the quincies are German influenced so it makes kind of sense.
4:00 - 4:05
It's not really clear but that's part of what we speculated for years when the Chapter came out.
Ofc he knew
@@troytheboy1985 Exactly
Bazzard Black is a cool name
Titi Kubo is a different legendary story
honestly I did not remeber Jugo to no diff BazzB that brutally from my time back in the day reading the manga :D BazzB used everything he had in his arsenal and got 0 feats why Jugo didnt even want to fight and used the bare minimun efort to kill BazzB. Wow thats savage.
I didn't remember a single thing from this fight before this episode, but I'm glad because this episode definitely made this story more memorable for me
@@wingzero7678 definetly :)
Remember not only is Bazz B wounded and weakened from his Auswahlen but he also can't use Vollstandig.
Next week will be 2 episodes and i think it will be 1 hour. Can't wait until next episode
It's crazy. In the manga i felt bad for both of them. I gotta see if they changed the story. But now i only feel for Jugo.
Weird tbh I don't see why anyone wouldn't feel bad for Bazz B
(Spoiler) when you finally get jugram schrift reveal you can go back through his fights and understand why he just chills when stuff happens.
4:42 disgusting. when i saw this, i immediately thought back to Banana Fish with Ash Lynx (Poor Ash)
Yessir new vid
Lowkey, the jugo and bazz situation was kinda like Anakin and Mace windu. Ywach had important things to tell jugo while bazz wanted him dead. Palpatine had important things for anakin but windu wanted him dead.
If i heard correctly in the beggining you mentioned armin. And it interesting that yugo and armin shares the same VA. Also they're both blonde.
The sternritters are any quincy with a schrift
You're never beating the allegations 😂😂😂
Being around Jugo is a 4x ep boost.
His Uncle was definitely on some Diddy shit. If you look at the Manga panel it looks mad sinister thus why he is always looking so dead inside. Dark ass anime fs.
Exactly
13:42 - 13:48
This reconfirms and solidifies for those still trying to say "Yhwach DoEsN't GiVe PoWeRs, He JuSt UnLoCkS tHeM 🥴" is purely FALSE.
Bazz b is weak here because of the Auswahlen
Waddup Waddup
nice
Ywach saved Jugram from Diddy
So imo he’s grateful in a way
Wonder how much close the fight would have been if Bazz wouldnt have been auswhalened by yhwach
Bazz B would be just below Shikai Yamma so it would still wouldn’t matter
He at least could get Jugram to get serious, it could be like Uryu vs Renji type of fight, because Auswallen is a crazy nerf(no Vollstandig and Sklaverai)
He'd at least force Jugram to use his Schrift before losing
@@Honest_Mids_Masher Jugram doesn’t need scrift for Bazz at most he will just use shield .Bazz has Yamma shikai power but not the speed
@@lanohuncho1045 I disagree but to each their own.
Jugram is the Asta of the Quincies.
