I flew JAL from Texas to Korea and loved it. It wasn't first class but the attendants were so friendly and good to me. Given the opportunity in the future, I'd fly JAL in a heartbeat over our American Airlines (actually it was American Airlines lol). I flew AA coming back and was really disappointed with their staff. They just don't compare with JAL staff.
My dad worked for Boeing in a position that had him travelling to support different airlines. He went to Japan, Australia, UK, UAE, etc. He said JAL provided the best experience no contest. This Airbus hurt my heart, though, lol. Thank you for another amazing video.

No graffiti, no peeling paint or rust, nothing appears to be shut down for maintenance. Look forward to more of your travel.

I will always remember my introduction to Tokyo; in 1989 taking a 10 hour flight from San Francisco (SFO) to Narita (NRT), the aircraft began its decent over a harbor where all the fishing boats were returning to land before nightfall. Everything had an orange-saffron color light from the evening sun, the water was still and everything was beautiful.
Ahhh 1st class is fun! Especially the lounges and the 1st class attention. Someday I will try it! Thank you for another wonderful trip! So much fun. Love your videos, looking forward to the next! (almost caught up to current time!) So wonderful that Japan is wearing masks and doing their best to stop the spread of COVID without letting it disrupt their daily lives. I wish US was more disciplined. Japan is much more thoughtful of others. I may move there! LOL Thanks again! ☮
Your first class flight looks so awesome! 👍🏻We were given a free upgrade to business class once and we can't bear to leave the plane. 😆 Personally, I think the best way to enjoy the first class lounge is to dress in T-shirt with a backpack. 😉

I once flew first class in my country. I was just lucky. There was overbooking so they transfered people from the lower class to the first one. So I flew it for free. The flight was long - 7 hours. They brought meals all the time. We had good dishes and cups, like at home, many different types of food. Everything was great. When I landed and my friend met me there, I was so full that my friend's offer to go and have some snack made me laugh)
That breakfast was incredible. I'd be disappointed with the western one by comparison. I laughed when you made that late order for...champagne! :D I don't blame you, it is first class after all ;)

The food portion for the 1st class is not that bad. Usually for business and 1st class, the flights would give a small portion and charge +$20 for it. I am surprised 😶✈

This is super cool to see. Here in United States domestic flights for first class are very bare bones. Flights to family cost $500 in the same state. Lol. All you get is a slightly larger seat nothing else. So cool to see the differences vs here. No lounges either unless I want to pay $50.00.

Had a trip back booked for late November of the same year but died in the October. But I got his iPad so I have all the wonderful photos he took on his travels but I had to delete all the foodie photos! LoL So thank you TG.

In terms of Domestic Flight, looks like Japan adapting US Domestic Flight, because they use "Domestic First Class" word rather than Business Class word. I remember in the past, there is variant of 747 for Japanese Market, where the capacity is same like 747 but it has shorter range. I hope in the future there is wide body plane with shorter range to serve some high density short distance flight like this.

I had a very good deal on flight from Cleveland, Ohio to Columbus, Ohio on TWA in like 1993 or 1994. I bought a ticket primarily for Cleveland to Peroia, ILL to visit ex friend, somehow for some reason the trip was cancelled, since it was non refundable, I accidently saw on the board that there is a flight between cleveland and columbus for 70 dollars ROUNDTRIP, so I exchanged it for three flights one month each. I flew it each month for 3 months. ONLY 15 minutes flight time (Gate to gate is 30) First time was on a 727 (my FINAL time in 727) then the next two times was on MD 80 or DC-9. The final flight - sunrise take off was so fucking beautiful! I love these clouds (the weather in both cities was rain and cloudy. I NEVER forgot that. My friend came with me on the final flight and I couldn't wake him up bec he was on the other side about a seat behind me (He fell asleep after take off). I wish I had a phone that could record it but that kind of phone was never created that time. I would have posted pictures of it and treasure it forever. God made really beautiful clouds with sunrise!

There is. Japan Airlines is currently operating A350-900 short range version with a maximum range of 5000km.
