My favorite design feature of the Raptor compared to the regular F150 are the chamfered edges around the head/tail lights. Wide body looks so good!

We have a 2018 King Ranch and love it. 31k miles and zero problems. Had the same recalls you had and had them fixed when we got an oil change.
As a Gen1 owner, it's nice that you did an update. If you have any friends with a Gen1, I'd love to get your take between the 2 and a comparison.

We have a 2019 Rocky Ridge denim black paint raptor and freaking love it. Did find driving around and city has better performance in sport mode.

Roy Zepeda I installed the MPT 93 PRX tune on my Raptor a year ago and didn’t tell the wife! The first time she drove it she almost hit someone because of how touchy the throttle response is compared to stock!
Almost 17,000 miles on my 2018 with the MPT tune since 1500 miles, no problems at all so far.
@@RSRS-ws3px Ive got the 2014 ford tremor and ive got the 91prx tune with some other stuff done and didnt tell my gf the gas mileage went down tremendously needless to say that day
Ryan B I jinxed myself! I wrote no issues and the past couple days it seemed to be running roughly!
Then last night it would start and idle for 5 seconds then shut off!! It started after the fifth try and got me home.
I called MPT and they said try changing the plugs first, which seemed weird with only 17,000 miles on it.
I changed them today and the truck feels like a rocket again!
I heard these ecoboost engines need to have the plugs changed way more often than the manual says but didn’t expect this! Something else to add to the yearly check list!
@@RSRS-ws3px yep, i keep an extra pair of gaped plugs from mpt on stand by. Typical with the ecoboost.

I had a 2014 stage 3 Roush Mustang that had an 82mm pulley and tuned by Performance Evolution in Smyrna, Delaware. I had 23K miles on it when I traded for the Raptor, it still had the same plugs and was running strong.
Only about 10 pounds of boost though, does that make the difference?
Yes the A10 is awesome in the ZL1 I have one for channel it is modified and we are about to start running it on the drag strip...

I have a ‘18 FX4 F-150 with the 3.5 eco boost. I’m currently averaging 18mpg around town and have gotten 24mpg on the interstate
Do you use any leather conditioner on your vehicles to help preserve the leather with the wear and tear?

That’s the best colour Ford makes right now. I have the same colour on an fX4
It all depends on the muffler. My truck stock had single outlet behind the passenger rear tire. I removed the entire exhaust system. Kit hat 2.5 pipes when truck had 3. But still it made a better difference because of the rest of the kit. Deleted resonator. Installed 3 chamber muffler to baffle the sound and dual tip outlet behind the rear bumper. It growls deep. Even for a V6. 2.7.

I had a similar experience with my steering wheel on mine. the red in the center actually cracked for some reason. i dont even touch it but its got a crease thats turned into a crack. the paddle shifters are completely stupid.I've also had a leak in the rear window control switch show up this weekend. that was interesting.
Have you compared the two? Which one is faster and which one has better fuel economy? The factory Raptor or The Supercharged 5.0?
The Raptor is chill, but I'm wondering about the pothole issue. I saw one of WillMotivation's reviews of the raptor and he said that they don't do too well driving over potholes.

Hey man I wanted to ask what ended up being wrong with your f-150 with the idling? My F-150 is having major idle issues and is constantly dying on me and I cannot figure out what it is. The mechanics in my town have had no luck.
My ‘19 just turned over 10k mi, now that has loosened up a bit and when combined with 93 octane, it is an impressive machine. I run a 305/45/22 summer tire and It’s been averaging 18 mpg mixed.

I really like your raptor. The only thing that I would hate about owning one is having 2 turbos, if they went out, they would be expensive and a pain to replace. Other than that, it’s pretty sweet
Emory Bragg yea and they break frequently, mines needed both turbos replaced and cam phasers, all under warranty but still a POS

I will admit, it does have the most badass looking front end of any pickup on the market. I sat in a 2020 at a dealership the other day, and was very impressed with the look and feel of the interior. However, that's as far as I got, since I wasn't there to purchase a $70K truck.
Yeah I have the 502A package on my 2016 Lariat. I don't have the the adaptive cruise control though.
I'm planning on buying a 2020 Raptor. I like the white with the black stripes package and blacked out wheels, and the Magnetic Metallic are my two main color choices. I live in NYC, I see you live in the suburbs so you don't have the issue of looking for a spot to park your Raptor in the streets lol that's one of my concerns also, how good can this truck be for a city guy? How about the gas, how often do you guys have to go to the gas station to spend money on gas and how much do you drive it?? Those are the things I'm considering before buying one. They have the Auto On/Off now included to "SAVE" gas, how truthful is this? But I'm looking forward to have one soon. Any final suggestions my friend?
I average about 15mpg but I drive mine pretty hard all the time. A little hard to park because it's so wide. I always park in the back.

Mike could you comment on your driving experience in and around the city in terms of difficulty/ ease of parking, navigating narrow streets etc.
Is it really a practical everyday driver or is it mainly for off road driving.
I daily drive mine and love it! A little difficult to park because it's so wide, but I always park in the back anyway.
