If said shot gets reflected, it bounces off in the way you saw. Why the glitch speed + jump is making the first shot go into "dash mode" is unknown to me though.

I know this is 4 years old, but regarding the chill penguin fight, I thought the health meter actually made more sense from a more realistic perspective. I mean, they're robots... Shouldn't they be a lot harder to kill with all that space age armor? Just my random thoughts. Stronger buster shot is also a cool mechanic.
15:18 - I think they mentioned that they were also going to have a Random Sigma Stages option in the next version (where after you beat the fourth robot master, there's a random chance the Sigma Stage part of the game will start after each robot master and skip the other robot masters). If that's true, that would be a game changer for speedrunners.
The capsules are changed so that there are no impossible capsules normally you need the dash to get the helmet upgrade but it’s random so the dash upgrade might need the helmet upgrade.
i know its a year late - but to get the sub tank in mandril stage i believe you have to fire your boomerang and then dash at its speed toward the sub tank
I did a randomizer for this and I got a Sigma that had 255 health, I did not enjoy fighting him not only for that, but also for the fact that he was immune to everything except hadouken and regular buster shots
you could probably get the sub tank if you shot the boomerang and chased it with a long dash. they do seem to come back but only after going so far they'd normally fly out of bounds
I'm curious now, though. Are there randomizers for X2 and X3 as well? I feel like those would be better for the randomizer, since there would be more variables to take into account. (I.E. X-Hunters, Bit and Byte, etc.)
