நான் 2019 இல் Windus blue star air cooler வாங்கினேன். அன்று 10000 ரூபாய். அன்று இருந்து இன்று வரை நன்றாகவே வேலை செய்கிறது. எந்த பிரச்சினையும் இல்லை.
அடிக்கடி cooler ஐ சுத்தம் செய்ய வேண்டும். Water pump blockage check பண்ண வேண்டும். Water droping pipe holes check பண்ண வேண்டும். 6 மாதத்திற்கு ஒருமுறையாவது, blower motor கு lubrication கொடுக்க வேண்டும். Full closed blower motor கு lubrication கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்றால் motor ஐ திறந்துதான் கொடுக்க முடியும்.
எனவே வாங்கும் பொழுது, மோட்டார் கழட்டாமல் அப்படியே lubrication செய்யும் model பார்த்து வாங்கவும்.bike chain lubrication பண்ணுவது போல 🙏🙏🙏

We have used Air Cooler for several years both in North India and in South India (Tuticorin District).
Air cooler is best when the atmospheric humidity is low. If we like to use Air Cooler, proper cross ventilation must be ensured in the room. Rooms must not be completely closed.
While using fan type/desert type air cooler, it is advisable to postion it outside or near the window area which would give better efficiency.
Which company air cooler is being used by you ?

i bought Orient 40L Air Cooler last year. Fan & 3 way Honey Comb type. No ice chamber but the cooling is good even without it. Can open the back pannel easily so that we can empty the bucket directly into the tank. Fan type is best if you sit a bit far away from the cooler. After using it for a year, I recommend this for 6k to 7k budget fan type coolers.
People ignore the fact that we need good ventilation for the Air Coolers. They use it like an AC in closed rooms.

one more flaw about air cooler you missed, AC ejects the heat outside, while in air cooler the heat that absorbed from the room by the water in the mesh will soon dissipate in to the room only . so that's why aircooler is a flawed product overall. rather in AC the heat s ejected outside in the outdoor unit .

Also one tip I used earlier is to wed the pada fully using sprayers with normal.or cold water to cover all areas..

I am using Havells aircooler brina plus, it is very loud and not cover some area due to its not a fan cooler . But cooling is great . Main disadvantage is ice chamber mentioned in the video .

Anything iron inside the cooler gets rusty because of moisture inside.
Noise is high but you get used to it.
During high humidity days, it's less effective but not bad.

I accepted the cooling is better in wood wool when compared to honey comb but one disadvantage in wood wool is if not change the water, it will give some odor, so we need to change the water atleast 2 times in a week.... Also the lifetime of wood wool is 1 or 2 years but honey comb will come up to 4 to 5 years. I bought wood wool first, it takes more maintenance so i changed to a honey comb with a blower.... The cost of the wood wool is cheaper than the honey comb.....
If you avoid odor use bore water if possible use RO water so that salt content won't be there in the pump and inner tank, don't use river water within a single day odor will come.... I did lots of research on this, also we need to use an air cooler in open space or doors and windows should be open, Use a secondary fan at a low speed to circulate the humidity otherwise it will irritate to breathe..... Not suitable for kids and asthma patients.....
Suggest me a best one to buy.. I have 2 small kids. Have allergies..

Good topic at. My observations from different locations, air cooler works well in dry and rocky places. Great use in Hyderabad, ok in Bangalore and Coimbatore. Absolutely useless in north Tamil Nadu especially Chennai. It only makes air quality worse by raising humidity with no drop in temperature. Also there are coolers with vetiver filters, excellent cooling with fabulous aroma 👍🏻👌🏼

Air cooler is worth for normal climatic conditions and not for summer. You need to place the air cooler near the window then cooling air will flow. Definitely better than ceiling fan. Im using symphony air cooler costs 6000 rupees.
This is summer 40 degree outside 37 degree inside using cooler reduces temperature to 30 and also adds humidity to the room which was 30 percentage and below during noon till evening you just need to buy a right cooler all cooler brand advertising personal air cooler for 10sq ft room is enough is a joke they don't cool the room they might act as a fan for single person dessert air coolers should be used to cool the room and they does cool the room even in peak temperature time they just louder and costlier than that of personal aircooler but they work better brand also advertising that dessert air cooler is suitable for 600sq ft room but I doubt that they can cooler a 20x30 Crompton optimus 100 does that easily and also we have Crompton ozone royale which is also good even with a smaller fan compared to optimus it also cools the room effectively

After i used both fan type desert cooler is best for home than blower type, 3 to 4 peoples can get air in fan type and its less noise ,only u should place near the door or window most dont know how to use air cooler they close the room or hall and complained about cooling ,air cooler need ventilation it will work good with new air from outside when its takes circulated inside air it wont give u cooling ,some think closing room will give feel like AC no it will not decrease temperature .Know how to use before buying

Every air cooler product are same with different box size that’s it😛
whatever brand you want you can buy it, it’s your choice 💰. My Advice try to buy with good max blower speed (it will be noisy) ice chamber ellam chumma waste 🤭
Air cooler shouldn’t be used in closed room, it will increase room temperature and skin become oily.
Ventilation must irukanum then you will get the result for sure 💯
If there is NO WINDOWS in your room please don’t buy it.

In high humid areas, water cooler is less effective. I live in interior TN and here humidity gets low, so i get full effect of the air cooler. It's better than nothing if you can't afford ac.
