Great insight into your training week. 7am is late for me LOL, most of my training is done silly o’clock, ex military timing still in force, 3.30am rise, in home gym by 4am for stretch and pre activation and hit the roads 4.45am ish. Absolutely the best time of day no matter the time of year, if can train your body clock to be this way then you must try it. Pre hydrate on wake-up with lytes and vit mix, usually a ripe banana and small pot raisins for pre run fueling and Shazam 💥💥. Go to gym 2/3 sessions per week at 6am for callisthenics and gymnastic ring work and legs to finish each session. My wife thinks I’m totally insane, but my strict regimented routine keeps my ADHD in check. Ps I’m 53 yrs young 🎉🎉🎉 love the down to earth content… zone 3 however is not quite the grey area most think it is, if can work elements of zone 3 into your program dependant on fitness levels it is beneficial.
Bearing in mind where you were a few months ago I think you’re doing amazing. Love how adaptable your plan is too with life curveballs
Thank you
Great video Chris, really interesting and helpful to see what your marathon training consists of, thanks mate!
Glad you enjoyed it

Wowzers... 47 miles. I have 47k on my training plan for Berlin this week, and that will be a big step up for me! Hope to see you on the starting line.
Great recap on your week, love these types of videos 😊

Thanks for watching!
Which other marathon are you considering for this year? I'm also looking to do another late this year.
Afternoon Chris, understanding it may vary due to what point in training you are but what would you say over the year your average weekly miles are ?
40
