Hi Trevor, another excellent explanation, the feeling for me is to bring the body in the right position to the point where I straighten my leading leg, brace against it - that's the moment where the body slows and arms/hands accelerate.
Well done TS! I've been looking for drills - it's been made very clear watching Tour level players up close that there power move is short and concise. Looking forward to trying your new drill and seeing if I can master it within the right part of the arc. Might help everyone to be reminded where P1 thru 9 are located across the swing plane....
"An octopus swinging a spaghetti noodle." 😅 Great stuff! I sometimes slow my hands down in front of my belly button and end up hitting pull hooks. I tell myself to keep my hands moving thru the release and that seems to help.
I would even say to keep the shoulders and arms moving down at the bottom from P6-8! As long as you have a stable platform on lead side you’ll have something to accelerate into!
Hi just started watching your videos they are great can u teach me some drills for low point I'm having hard time keeping the same please help Anthony from pgh pa thanks
Decelerating the club? Unclear. You wouldn't be getting a whip from decelerating the club face. You mean decelerate the handle moving through the air, Right?
The body in the downswing (pelvis especially) moves into a deceleration which provides a platform for the arms and club to accelerate. Let me know if that makes sense

I've been having trouble turning off the arms in my swing. We'll give these drills a try.
Let me know how it goes!
