"You F young boys Valdez?"
That line is gets me every time LOL
"Are you a mad man?! This would cause an international incident!"
@@ThatGuySarabia"Danny, Ben, Miguel, Tristan and Teddy...full lips. Ring any bells?"
I just couldn't with that line 😂😂😂😂
Interesting, when you stand inside the police station to long after given assignments, game tells you to hurry up.
1:01:10 😂
The professional dressed up like the vault tech sales rep from Fallout 4.
He's gonna sell you the opportunity of your lifetime.
Good morning! Vault Tec calling!
Just following up on the ending,
Valdez won't be charged due to him being an Argentine diplomat. However, as Captain Leary points out, he's been exposed as being gay and a pedophile. In the late 1940s, this would effectively be a death sentence and would be the cover of headlines, perhaps even moreso than the car chase.
While his fate is unknown, he either lost his job or became disgraced for the rest of his career.
As deserved for a pedro
He would be fired and given notice to go back to Argentina. Not sure what would happen there, Argentina could prosecute him but this is the 1940's... not sure how seriously they took this stuff.
@@shaun3713 It's 47', General Perón's goverment. I'm pretty sure he's DEFINITELY gonna get it. We had elections on the 46' and he won.
Yeah, diplomatic immunity applies even to serious crimes, Professional is wrong.
1:01:09 - 1:01:15 😂😂😂 the way Professional said whoa had me wheezing

I was laughing so hard for a good 20 minutes when Cole said it

“Does thou engage in inappropriate proclivities with thee youthful males, Consulate Valdez?”
"Are you mentally unwell, This could cause a hysteria which would spread thorough the globe!"
Don’t beat yourself up. I’m enjoying every second of this. I once didn’t know all the answers either.
It's so creepy the pages curl just before Phelps grabs them, reminds me of that Roger Rabbit goof where he forcegrabs a jacket lol
My grandma still says shyster to this day
There are no dlc cases on the homicide section of LA Noire there’s two dlc cases in traffic two on the vice desk & one on the arson desk loving this play through so far the Cole Phelps cos play outfit is on point!
In the next case with the guy that gets run over remember to check the trashcan in alley at the crime scene, it has something interesting.
Also case 12
It also changes the ending of the case if you do look there compared to if you don't IIRC
Very underrated game and the graphics are beautiful wish R* would make a second one
Yeah definetely. And it takes place in Carcer...
There's a video out there made by the studio behind L.A. Noire. It's for a spiritual successor called "Whore of the Orient" and it was to be set in Shanghai in 1936. You can guess why it never happened.
@@zacksung11 very interesting!
@@WildBoy4FunTime Considering this game uses real names, why would it be Carcer? lol
@@SoAaron_ So they can tie it all together. Would be for lore and worldbuilding. Like references and eastereggs.

Not shocking. There are people in high level positions who are psychological disturbed
Your grandpa voice from the trolling scammer videos had me laughing so hard

As an Argentinian, when i played this game for the first time and went through this case, it was weird to see my country involved the game.
Also, yes, part of history was right, not sure about admire the germans at the time this game takes place, i heard of some nazis included Mengele supposely lived in Argentina in some point.
About the dictators, yes, we have a pretty dark story, during 70's and early 80's people even pregnant women were caught and tortured until de4d. In 1983, Alfonsin won the election and Argentina was no longer under dictarors, Jorge Rafael Videla, the dictator during 70's got convincted and d1ed in prison.
Props to Professional, love the LA Noire playthrough and also Valdez is the worst Argentinian stereotype i've ever seen, we are better people lmao 🤣
Yo tambien soy argentino y me acuerdo cuando jugaba la noire y este caso me gustaba mucho
Im shocked you're not playing the remastered version

1:01:10 The way the question and answer is given will always be hilarious! This game is amazing and it’s great to see you play through this game. Keep up the great work Patrick!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was expecting Patrick laugh hard from that question.
47:18 hey pro, so in regard to the statement:
“he insulted him … doesnt he deserve to have honor?"
So I am Hispanic hopefully this helps shine some light on what she meant to say.
We are prideful in our work. Principled to a fault. To the point that if someone said “hey you missed this spot” we’d rather do the whole thing for free vs leaving with a bad reputation.
Hispanic parent tend to use the incorrect words very often, especially when we are somewhat taken aback or feel a type of way. Using the first word that comes to mind - making this scenario SUPER realistic and relatable to me.
In my scenario my mother has an issue with duplicitous people, people who smile in your face and then proceed to do you wrong - she proceeds to call them “hypocrites” (doing one thing and saying / meaning / doing another).
In the heat of the moment as she told me a story of how someone wronged her she always said hypocrites - because duplicitous is just too much of a stretch for some of us.
As a Hispanic man, this has basically summed up my whole life. My pride in my work, my mom struggling to communicate. Damn.
@@MrRAGE-md5rj hahaha small world eh?
I'm glad the dev's team made a case from my country. It's like that time I saw that Love Fist's member with the argentinian's football team from Mexico 86's event. Thank you for uploading this case so quickly, Pat.
Also, all argentinians don't talk with that accent. It's a shame they couldn't find an latin VA's who can ressamble our accent or at least trying to. Anyway, it's an amazing case btw.
I had no idea the map was so big in this game 🤔 It's huge lol

I've never played the DLC cases either.
I'm also loving this series.

15:05: It was Doubt because what reason would the witness take the tires, flag and license plate when he did say he saw the 3 Mexicans working on it?
31:35: I was shocked by the poll. The Doubt option was the correct one, yet it came in 2nd place. The reason it was Doubt was because Dewey wasn't being specific on who he believes was robbing from him.
15:36: I heard that in Mississippi, the age of consent is 14, Georgia is 15
58:34: It was Doubt because there was no proof that confirmed that Dewey and Valdez met at a bar.
Too bad the Supreme Court decision was a short-term gain with long-term repercussions.
What decision?
When your in police car since the radio does not play you should put the music because some music plays when you are driving and during interviews its sounds quite good aswell

53:32, I'm with you on the age of consent, its 16 in the UK, like it is some US states like you said and I think it should be raised to 18, and I must admit driving down that river in East LA in the game remined me of the diamond jewelry store heist from GTA V.
Just wish Rockstar Games can really make this LA Noire Part 2, because it's one of my favourite games. ✏📓

Oh man, this game is so great. I feel like when the story starts to be interesting, the game makes you do cases which don’t add anything to the story which is the only flaw this game has.
47:59 I can't get over what Cole just said!
😂😂😂
1:01:08 OH MY GOODNESS, VALDEZ is *screwed!!*
😂😂😂
You can actually join the military at 17. In fact, I think the youngest person to go through SEAL training successfully was 17. It's weird to me you can consent to signing away 6 years of your life and agree to go into war, but the age of consent, age to vote, age to smoke, and age to drink can all be higher depending on the state you are in.
This is gold keep on doing videos like this. This is awesome.
54:48
I also actually know several stories here in the Netherlands where dozens of embassies and diplomats were involved in a crime, but had to be let go.
There was an incident in 2013 where the wife of a Russian diplomat was arrested for driving drunk, and she had damaged several other vehicles with her car. She herself was not a diplomat, so the police kept her in jail, but what happened around the same time when the police did their investigation towards her husband named Dimitri who was a diplomat.
They actually started to get calls and tips by several people in a neighborhood who claimed a Russian speaking man was psychically and possibly sexually abusing his children, this man turned to be this diplomat.
Not long after they went in and caught Dimitri drunk while beating his kids. He was arrested, and the children were taken in by the CPS.
However, after this happened the Russian government and esspecially Putin got really angry at the Dutch for arresting such a sweet honorable and hardworking man who only did his diplomatic duties.
In the end they had no choice, but to let him go and his wife as well. I bet you would probably say that the police did the right thing, but the diplomatic immunity still protected this cruel man.
In 2014 there was a much bigger incident with the Turkish embassy that actually broke all diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and Turkey. In 2014 a Turkish minister was going to run a propaganda campaign and speech at the Turkish consulate in order to influence people from Turkey living in the Netherlands, something that was simply all organized by Erdogan. The government however didn't want this to happen so they denied her acces to the consulate and she was send back.
This didn't go so easy as many Turkish people took to the streets and started to riot. Riot teams were send in of course and slowly took down the riot and arrested several people.
However, during the riot the riot team had beaten several men with their batons in order to subdue them, and it turned out some of these were diplomats, and Erdogan used this whole situation to his advantage to portray the Dutch as savages who send barbaric men to harass and intimidate his people. It's utter bullshit of course, but it sturred up a lot of controversy, and there are actually theories out there that say these diplomats instigated the riots, and even let themselves get beaten and arrested, but no proof has ever been found.
Wouldn't be the first time that gov't employees infiltrated a mass of pissed-off people so they could start riots. Just look at January 6th & Ray Epps.
9:25 LMAOOOOO yea sometimes it’s hard to tell if they’re lying.. some ppl’s faces can throw u off😭

Ah yes, Just like the wheelchair guy from Family Guy said "I can't stand this guy".
You're wrong about diplomatic immunity, it applies even for serious crimes.
he's wrong about so many things...
1:01:09
Wow, how you gonna flat out just ask someone that question like that?? 🤣 That was too much lmao but your reaction Professional was priceless 🤭 love your videos
1:01:09 wtf that was super unexpected lmfao
Oh yeah, I remember this one now. I played this way later because I bought this game when it first came out, so I didn't have the DLC initially. Then I bought The Complete Edition and got to replay the game with the the DLC cases. I remember this case and one of the Homicide cases, if I remember correctly, having a couple of other creeps in this game too. Don't wanna spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet, but you'll see it soon enough, since Homicide is the next desk after Traffic here.
Not only is this your best partner, but Traffic probably has your best police captain as well. I guess you're not going for any trophies or street cases yet huh pro? That's cool. I believe once you collect everything, not only does the music stop, but you should also hear a certain music cue as well. Yeah see? After Cole picked up the wrench and you heard those certain notes? I believe that's what usually tells you when you've collected all the key clues in a certain area, just so you know. Play back the video to make sure you hear it to make sure. Took me a while to pick up on myself. Hey, Oswald Jacobs is Ted's dad from the Bill and Ted movies. John Logan, played by Hal Landon Jr. The character is coincidentally a police captain lol. That was funny "what the hell? lol. Yeah Captain Leary, he's the best captain in this game. Also something the actor rehearsed lol. In 1947 you could probably threaten people like that. And I agree, Stefan Bekowsky is the best partner in the game too. Not too bad, 4 out of 5 stars. Nice going, pro.
22:39 his smile is so unsettling😭
27:59
So Goldberg Ligner & 'Scam'? 🤣
if you mess at any point, simply quit to the main menu then press resume. you should be back before you messed up. I don't fully agree with mature at 18 thing; this number does not necessarily make someone magically mature. my brother is 20 years old and yet he still behaves like a little brat. I have seen interviews and podcasts with men and women in their 30's but they are more immature than me when I was 13. I understand where you are coming from
@MaxPain1996 He was talking about the Physical condition of victim when doing a sexual assault because if you tried to do that before 18, you will be marked as pedophile while doing that on 18 or above, they wont call you pedophile at all.
In term of mental state, you are correct because even someone on mid 30s or early 40s still behave like a brat or kid but on physically, they already more than adult. There are also a case where dwarfism take place where someone who should have adult physical appearance but still have brat or young kids figure because of genetic mutation, their looks really deceiving for most people.
@@hartonosutrisno5452 actually, they still call you a predator if you date/marry a lady under 30; not joking, Chris Evans is called a pedo/predator for marrying a 26 woman.the age of consent is a joke. if physical state is so important, why teenagers 13-17 are allowed to hook up, get pregnant and even get abortion before they're 20 ? I've seen so many girls show off that they slept with 50+ guys by the time they're 18.
If you pick up another person’s weapon, it was safe to your car anytime in the house so now I can’t have it but I’ll get it another one eventually from the guy who can pick it up in the game and like you can then access it from your trunk of your car which is very cool
If you accuse a witness of lying, then back out they’ll have an angry expression.
This case isn't DLC for North American copies of the game, only European versions. The only actual DLC case for traffic is A Slip of the Tongue.
1:01:12 I’m fucking crying 😂😂😂

Pro you should watch the bloopers from this game after you have completed it they are quite funny
I remember doing this case and skipping the interview with the consul. Still got a high case rating tho.
He's an interesting suspect... To say the least
Agreed on age of consent being 18. Anything lower is unacceptable.
90% of people have se xual relations before 18. Maybe even 99% these days.

Wow, just noticed you're playing 5 games at once. I don't know where you find the time, Pro. Looking forward to seeing when you not only finish this game, but if you go for any trophies or 100%. Luckily, I don't remember 100% being too difficult in this game. Was only a matter of finding a certain amount of gold film reels, certain car models and then doing street crime side missions, which are usually pretty quick. If you use a guide or video, shouldn't be too tough. I believe you have to go to certain locations and choose free roam, but it's been a while since I played this game.
Just wanna ask you, if you reading this Pro. Are nowadays detective still dressed up like this? I honestly think 1940's outfit was so classy and distinguished looking. I'm not an American, so idk how detectives dress up there nowadays.
And other question. In US, which city or state that have all the embassy from other country that have diplomatic with US? Is it in the capital or another city? Cause here in Indonesia, all of embassy is in Jakarta, the capital.
All embassies in every county are in the capital city by default. But consulates usually are not, that's perhaps the main point of consulates (and you can have more than one consulate, unlike the embassy - it can be only one). Consulates are not at the same level as embassies.
"Are nowadays detective still dressed up like this?" lol not sure if you're serious but no... sadly.
@@bdleo300 Well i’m not that serious about the “dressed up” part😅. Detective in our country are somewhat still dressed formally, but not “classy” like the one in the games.
Thank you very much about your explanation then. Because your explanation, i look it up about the consulates, and i have no idea that we too have so many consulates here😅. Especially in our top 3 cities, Bali (well im sure you have somewhat hear about Bali lol), Surabaya (Second largest city in Java), and Medan (Largest in city in Sumatra).
Once again, thanks mate, appreciate it✌🏻🙏

Both sides are guilty
@cooperation3215 one side is committing the genocide, other side is rebelling agaisnt the constant killing of their people. It seems to me that one side is the instigator and problem.
@@MicroWave233 Arabs started the conflict with the 6 day war in 1967
Both sides are guilty
Arabs kept attacking Israel and Israel kept exaggerating with retaliation
@@MicroWave233 Rebelling by killing the civilians? Yeah right. Like the Hamas are not constantly firing rocket to Israel civilian area. Read how many HAMAS rocket fired to civilian area in the last 5 years. Both sides are ugly, dont justified just one side.
@kevin1294 you call the Israelis innocient, now that's funny since they are advocating for killing palenstine children. Go watch videos of them blatantly saying that with no hesisitation and then come tell me they are innocient. Hamas has done ugly things but like I said it's a response to the constant attacks by the Israeli military. They are trying to wipe out the palenstines just so they fully take over their land, it's disgusting.

I know you said you would do all the street crimes later, but imo if its an officer needs help call, I think Cole would drop everything and respond. Also, will your cosplay change for the different suits Cole wears for each separate desk? Some of the DLC suits offers certain bonuses like steadier aim, more health etc. My personal favorite was the Chicago Lightning suit. Also don't forget, when you get involved in a shootout, you can run up to any police car and take shotgun (or Tommy gun if you have the DLC) out of the trunk.
