The car gives full power when you are at 70 mph. Everything below is just as much power as the tires can put on the street. The real fun starts when you’re flooring it at 40 mph.
Model y long range is nuts too when My cousin barley step on the accelerator we’re gone leaving everyone at the entrance of the freeway

The plaid on a dyno actually makes about 1150 lb-ft of torque from the motors, not 700. And that’s motor torque not wheel.
Nice! I struggled to find a reliable torque figure online.
16:45 I'm surprised it lane changes that quickly. The law is to wait three seconds with your blinker on and then change lanes. People have been pulled over for immediate lane changes so I wouldn't be surprised if Tesla adds a delay in the future.
my guess is that the tesla hadn't sensed a car in the lane close enough that it would matter.
If thats the case, I'm going to sue Tesla. Not because I care, but because I need some bread

the only thing i dont like bout the steering wheel is that is doesnt have to top, which would make it hard to turn sometimes, also that the horn is a small button instead of being the big button on the airbag, which could be annoying if you nee or want to horn suddenly but need to find the small button instead of slamming the big one in the middle of the wheel
is the air system better then most cars? curious we have a model y and wonder with the air suspension you can tell a major difference
if the model x plaid was cheaper, it would make the ideal police car for police chases. its a very practical with good range and insane acceleration

You might want to look into the Dodge Durango SRT or SRT Hellcat. There's one I see pretty often around where I live, and that supercharged V8 sounds pretty mean. I think it puts out somewhere around 700 horsepower?

love this car, but for the price, and for a family SUV, a family would be much happier with an SUV with a little bit more space. I test drove this at the store with my family and theres not that much legroom.

I used to hate the looks of the model X...I actually still do, but I'm willing to make the sacrifice for all the sweet tech.
I noticed the owner removed the plaid emblem off the back to make it look like a sleeper for those in the know.
So this 2 second car is only in a straight line on a full charge with good tires and you have to wait for it to 'prepare'. What's the time for 0-60 on my daily commute?

There are aftermarket options, but it only comes with the yoke from the factory.

and the interior design is just amazing!
Don't be tricked about the interior and acceleration. The car feels cheap af. The materials are worse than hotwheels. Everything is broken and unreliable. Also with that acceleration comes bad braking and steering response, the handling is just bad especially with that steering wheel. Don't be fooled by the look.

Is ride quality is smooth are not because is have air suspension mostly air suspension is use for comfortable rides ,my question was Tesla model x does pass all uneven surface like bmw x7 comfortable without any impact rather we feel bump in this car and is comfortable like bmw X7 are GLS amg 63

Actually that steering wheel is safer, if you get in a front crash and its severe enough to go through the airbag and hit the steering wheel, so its actually cooler and safer.

You get soaked with those doors when it’s raining.
It wouldn't be hard to devise a clamp on yoke doubler (basically the same shape as the bottom portion, just flipped over to attach on top) that would make it more of a square wheel...and overcome the awkwardness for anyone who wanted it.
Interesting. Definitely wouldn't want gaps between the rim sections, though (last thing you need is a finger caught).
they did it so that the screen isnt blocked i think if you made it a square it would still block the view
the car is awesome but the only one thing is odd that is steering, the steering can cause a serious accident when you are driving fast in corners.

@@MilesPerHr they have changed. They are adaptive now (they turn as you turn the steering wheel). They are updating the headlights again and adding matrix LED soon

Unsurprising given the torque numbers and being so close in max horsepower. My question is, how much damage are you doing when you launch it that hard? I mean, I suppose the same could be asked of the Lucid, but I feel like they aren’t pushing their motors/power output as hard as Tesla is, especially as the Tesla vehicles give you a warning about potential damage with Plaid mode.
@@johnbuscher You're not doing much damage. Rogan says he never takes his 2016 p100d out of Ludicrous mode and he's had it for years. It will probably reduce the range by 2 to 7% a year if you always drive on plaid mode.
