GMC really surprised me with the attention to detail and the execution of this truck. On pavement or off-road, it doesn’t matter what’s underneath you *this* is hands down the funnest & most unique EV and most B.A. pickup on the market. Nobody else is doing this!!

This truck has a subtle hum almost sounds like a V8. The Hummer sounds good at idle & on throttle, makes some of the best noises I’ve heard in any EV.

Doesn't even sound close to a v8. Sounds like trash like every electric vehicle but I'll admit it's better than tesla wind noise.

So coincidentally after previously watching a Hummer EV video from a different YT Channel, I found this great video. And I really enjoyed every minute of it.
In my childhood, Hummer’s (with V8 engines) were my favorite car. Now, it’s crazy to believe that they’ve come up with a great return with an incredible EV that weighs so much but can go so fast. Everything about it is incredible 👏🏼

The hummer has a presence and a personality like you said it excites you the sounds the graphics most evs are fast and quiet and there you go have a nice life kind of thing haha

i would love this with a Duramax that is somehow paired with the electric motors making an interesting hybrid system
The rear is already set for you. It makes driving so much easier. I just think that’s so freakin cool. I would probably choose this rather than like a Tesla. I also get distracted with buttons that have seat cooling/heating on the screen .

They gotta figure out a way to make EVs sound cool without artificial engine noise
What’s the whole point with noisy engine? The next generation will find no sense on noisy vehicles.
I suspect switching the MTs to ATs (pick your brand) would reduce that highway whine by at least half. With that almost vertical windshield, though, the wind noise is there to stay. Kind of wish they did a swing-away tailgate with a rear tire carrier rather than forcing you to put the spare in the bed or go without one altogether. Would've looked good and been more practical. The new Hummer EV SUV has that swinging hatch with the rear-mounted tired carrier and it works really well. Just priced one of these on the GM website. With everything on it, including the max battery pack (389 miles estimated), MSRP is $140K. I don't think it's worth that, but I kind of understand given the massive battery pack. Still, I don't think I'll be mortgaging my house to get one. Of all the EVs out there, though, this is the one I'd want. Really nice looking truck. Kinda wish they'd ditch the fake auto-shifter in the center console, but I guess that's a small thing.

Turning radius is insane !does it use crab walk while turning?
Crab walk turns the rear wheels in the same direction as the front. The turning radius is great because it turns the rear wheels in the opposite direction as the front, and with quite a bit of steering angle 👍

I'm In love with the interior and in the middle about the exterior design but the electric part is what turns Me off, that doesn't say "longevity." Wish more companies would make cars like this but have Gas or even hybrid equivalents.

How many times can you launch control before you have to take it for Maintaineance? I mean we can’t pretend carrying all that load is not gonna do some damage.
The biggest problem I have with EVs is that batteries don't last forever. They will eventually be unable to hold a charge. The cost of replacing these batteries is crazy expensive. With that being said, this thing looks amazing.
Soon EV Cars will be like phones. Upgrade every 2 years

The only problems I have is the rims in my opinion don’t look very well and I would put a ram bar or winch to make it look cooler.

in my country B cathegory means up to 2.5 tons (kg) after that it requires higher license.
OMG....212 KWh battery size. A full charge at a supercharger at $0.58 per KWH will cost over $120.00. Not worth it considering you are only getting around 330 miles per full charge.
If you go camping with this, you can use electrical appliances all the time

I think I would choose something like this because the drivers view is perfect and it’s high. I would feel safe in it because it has a lot of weight.
