    Thanks for the info, trying to decide between the 4 & 6 inch lift.

      They are very noticeably different it really depends on what you like. The bottom of my door is up to my hip 😂

    Looks great man looking at the same kit for my 7.3

    Nice. I have a 2000 F-250 with the same engine, same trim, same cab setup, same bed size, same lift size, same tire size and it’s also the same color. What are the odds.

    Id love to know where you got your fuel door with the key? Awesome video, i just installed a leveling kit on my 02 F350. 2½ inch front and 3 inch rear.

    I went with the 6 inch lift, what kind of fender flares are they? Truck looks great!

    Hey man, what’s the size between your wheel and the fender ?

    Would you happen to have a link for the wheels you went with ?

      I got them on custom offsets website. I don't think they are selling these wheels anymore

      @The1967greenman 10-4 thank you ! I'll have a look maybe I'll find a similar version. I'm still not sure if I want the 6" or the 8" lift. Do you ever with you went with 8" instead of the 6" ?

    • @The1967greenman
      @The1967greenman  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @adventureswiththegaut1718 I guess it's really up to person preference and use of the truck. I went with the 6 just because I thought it looked good and would be better towing trailers and what not compared to the 8

      Do you think a -44 would rub with your 6" ? Also do you have a link for the kit you got ?

  • @shutdown3734
    @shutdown3734 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did you order the kit with the front leaf and the block with the rough country shocks and just toss the shocks?

    • @The1967greenman
      @The1967greenman  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I did. I got the bilstein shocks from bilstein lifts and I also got the dual front shock mount from rough country

  • @adventureswiththegaut1718
    @adventureswiththegaut1718 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Do they rub when you go off road ?

    • @The1967greenman
      @The1967greenman  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Only really rubbed when at full lock and flexing

  • @tolikkashchenko416
    @tolikkashchenko416 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    What’s the space between the fender and tire ? On rear and front ?

    • @The1967greenman
      @The1967greenman  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If I still had the truck I would be able to get you a measurement but I sold the truck. Rough country stated that you can fit up to a 38" tire and be able to clear well besides turning lock to lock.

  • @michealfrazier3367
    @michealfrazier3367 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did the dual shocks in the front make it make it a lot smoother

    • @The1967greenman
      @The1967greenman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe they did. For leaf spring suspension, the truck rides really well. It definitely helps having the dual shocks up front when hitting big bumps on trails. It just seems to soak them up better in my opinion

    • @The1967greenman
      @The1967greenman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm impressed by the quality it seems like it's pretty durable. The only thing different I did was install bilstein shocks

    Hey ... nice truck! How well do the fender flares work on keeping the dirt off? i have the same year and same lift.

    • @The1967greenman
      @The1967greenman  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It helps a little bit but it still throws mud over the sides 😂

  • @ayeebrando6920

    Please give me link to your lift i got same model truck but its single cab with 5.4 triton v8 instead 2wd and i cant seem to find no lift for it on rough country

    • @The1967greenman
      @The1967greenman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well if it's a 2wd there isn't a lift for it because of the front coil spring style front end.

  • @markroussell2291

    Did you have to make drive shafts longer?

    • @The1967greenman
      @The1967greenman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I did not. The stock driveshafts fit perfectly.

  • @oscarfoxman785
    @oscarfoxman785 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    How much trimming did you have to do to fit 37s? Also, the boots on the shocks are supposed to go on the top, lmao.

    • @The1967greenman
      @The1967greenman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just trimmed a couple inches off the lower bumper valance on both sides.

      @@The1967greenman Isn't that the plastic piece on the bottom of the front bumper? How bad does it rub after trimming?

    • @The1967greenman
      @The1967greenman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@oscarfoxman785 yes it is. And after trimming it only rubs at full lock with suspension flexing. So if you're turning in a parking lot and hit a bump it will just rub a little bit

    • @The1967greenman
      @The1967greenman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I got it off Amazon. They make a couple different styles. It's pretty good quality and it's made out of steel

    • @ramrod7566
      @ramrod7566 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Little late for a reply but the grill is made by Paramount. I have the same one but with a pair of led pods and a small led bar mounted into it. And also about to install a RC 6" lift but with all leaf lift in the rear.
