Just a couple quick comments. The temperature gauge on the model T is called a motometer.. There is no gas pedal, the throttle is a lever on the right side of the steering wheel and there is a spark advance on the left side. The Pedals are brake, clutch, and reverse, and you shift from low to high gear using the parking brake and clutch pedal. Planetary transmissions are a whole different world.
20k for the Ford Model T is waaay too much! They sell for about 8k for something decent like that one, to 12k for a real clean show car quality one in excellent condition and running perfectly! That is out here in SoCal where they sell for a premium. Back there they should be cheaper. The F250 looked like a no joke power stroke! I think I saw you drooling when you opened the hood and saw the engine! LOL! Thanks again for sharing! Take care and God bless! David
Those radiator/temp caps are actually extremely rare if I remember right, especially if it’s original to the car. Those things can go for over 500 bucks alone.
The radiator/temperature caps are not "extremely rare". No, these are not original to the car, they are after market. The temperature device is on backwards as is the wings underneath the temperature device.
Randy first of all let me tell you that you do an awesome job with your videos I watch all of them, I like that it’s all family friendly keep making those videos Respect !!
The three pedals on the 1922 are not brake clutch and gas it's actually brake gas and reverse the clutch is on the steering column where you shift gears
I have a 2019 Cherokee. It's been a good vehicle so far. No issues whatsoever, just oil changes and tire rotations and almost 30K miles. The rear hatch is a composite material and the hood is aluminum, both to save weight. Mine is the 3.6 V6 but the 2.4 L Multi-aire was the standard engine. I would not buy one with the 4 cyl. From my gas app, my average mpg for 2020 so far is 26.93 mpg. which I consider pretty good for a V6 4x4.
Randy: for the Jeep with the flashing mileage: The is due to needing a proxi alignment. What that means is one of the devices on the CAN bus is out of sync with the others. The dealership can do this for you, and the price varies with each location.
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds It certainly can. Thanks for the reply Randy! I just bought a new 2020 WRX a month ago and so far it's freakin awesome. Wouldn't mind seeing a few on the channel. Just know that any WRX that isn't a 2015+ (non Sti) has the EJ series engines - popular with Ringland and head gasket failures, rod bearings, etc so do watch out or plan for an engine if you decide to get one!
Fun fact: The wooden floor on the Model Ts were made out of the crates they got their supplies and parts in. This was done to save money. Also, most model Ts were black because it dried faster. Last but lot least, the engines did not have a pressureized lubrication system, it was the same like in a lawn mower. When going uphill for too long, the front bearing would overheat because there was no oil getting to it.
That old at&t truck would be a great work truck. BTW sorry for blowing up your comments on the Nissan video. Couple of great fellas I was chatting with. Keep up the great work Randy
@@williamsinger4124 running around like a chicken with his head cut off... Lol. Watering multiple properties today and yardwork at em. Braaawk braaawk LOL
@@montyholland3357 lol I started a 2 week break yesterday. First time in years. Of course I ended up at the store and delivered a few mowers etc. Then the wife sent me home. Our store is family run, and leave it to a guy to get bitched at for working on a day off. Ohh well.
Randy I would like to see you get that hailed out f250 its a toy just fix the windscreen and you got yourself a good toy, but I guess thats what your new jeep is for
At my car rental job, we had a jeep that did the same thing......odometer flashing steady. It ended up at another branch before it could be taken to our local Dodge/Jeep dealership. We had several jeeps that model, only one was doing the flashing thing.
The flashing mileage indicates a communication problem on the CAN system. This can be caused by either, a node (ecu) that is not functioning, or the timing of signals incorrect down the CAN lines.
Haters gonna hate. There is a lot of jealousy here, but the trolls dont realize that a thumb up or thumb down both count the same in the TH-cam algorithm and both help the channel.

Randy, in the blue carpet section with the at&t truck there is what looks like a blue Mitsubishi, I’m thinking about bidding on that car if it’s still there! Can you please do a video on that car! Shoot I might even do the Buy it now if that’s still available!
There are many reasons for no left side door on the model t. 1. Cost/money. The model T was an every man car, so cost where cut where ever they could be. Cost cutting is not a new concept for car manufacturing, as with plastic tailgates and panels. A penny here, a dime there adds up over thousands of cars. And saved Ford money when making the T so earning Ford money. 2. Body stiffness and rigidity, as doors would pop open going over bumps and thru ruts. Also, the flex would cause the body and other components to damage. 3. Cleanliness. Depending on where the car was driven when new as in some places there still was more horses on the 'road' then cars except in larger cities where roads where starting to be paved. So entering the car from the sidewalk was necessity for hygiene and class as you don't want to smell or have dirt on your shoes and clothes. If you don't use or enter thru the driver's why spend the money. 4.Design and function. The T is a small car inside and out. The steering wheel, handbrake and the top make using a driver's door difficult to use. As many people experienced around the world as T sold in countries with RHD had drivers doors. Also, the gas tank is under the passenger seat. 5. Laws. Many places have laws which prohibit exiting a car into traffic when parking on the curb. Many cars from the early years of motoring had no doors or doors on the curb side. Chatted with an old timer at a cruise night about his T and was interested so I read about it.
20k is too much for a model T unless its primo restored... model As can be got for 5k come on you are awfully deep pockets. Pretty car though. Randy you arent gonna drive that T at anywhere close to 55mph. You dont need 16s 17s or 22s and a model T ford has no clutch as you are used to... it has bands that tighten and release to drive the car...
Yep Randy you would be trading that Dodge rite off after about a week driving that Ford!!! Hard to get a deal on that Chevy... Maybe a lot of miles and needs painted... You should Hook the DIY Gang guy up with a coyote motor for the Bronco..😉👍
With the model T vs your 59, people really got into wanting big, bigger and biggest! That model T would be worth a fortune if it was redone. There should be a kill switch in the cabin to turn it off. You were considered elite if you had one and I believe the MSRP on one was about $800 but not sure
Just a couple quick comments. The temperature gauge on the model T is called a motometer..

"Planetary" transmissions are a whole different world - I saw what you did there :D
I was waiting for Randy to try and start it and check the transmission. Probably a good thing he didn't.

Ten years after that '22 came the flathead V8 and the world changed. That radiator cap/gauge was called the Motometer.
Model t was probably one of the most iconic cars that built America for the average consumer
Oh man a T Bucket totally awesome🤘

Randy, the temperature gauge on the Model T is called a Moto-Meter.
Hello from Phoenix Arizona!🔥
that first truck would be a grab for the right price

Where I live in Highland Park Michigan we have the first ever Ford motor company model t plant
Great video randy i loved it
Love love love the model t. Great car. Great video. Over all. Keep up the great work randy your great at what you do

My daddy was born in 22. Rest in peace pops 🙏💔😢
My grandma ((my dad's mother) who died in 2016) was born in 1925. She experienced WWII as a teenager and she used to tell stories about that time.

I have that exact same temperature gauge from the model t sitting on my bookshelf.
Look out the 2008to 10 next to the one your looking at.

I have the same problem with stick shifts too

Mileage is flashing maybe due to a non original accessory installed... happened to my Jeep Compass

On the Jeep Cherokee, the odometer flashing is apparently the front facing camera or the day/night sensor? Lol
The model T petals are not clutch, brake, and gas. One is for reverse, one is for emergency brake, and one is high/low speed clutch.
