Not a stupid question at all. The BEACN app is set up to always default your audio paths. The only downfall is if you want to use a different device (I use a RODECaster Duo for podcasting), you need to make sure the BEACN App is terminated so you can control the new paths.
Not a dumb question. It's a yes, but it's in the headphones section of the BEACN App. Mic Monitoring has a fader there and can be linked to the overall headphone levels, which will keep the ratio of what you are hearing consistent
Seems very hyper focused streaming and mostly for gamers. Shame I think more inputs and onboard controls would be a more compelling buy. I’d rather save another 100 or so dollars and get a rodecaster duo. Or get a Behringer flow 8 if I wanted digital signal processing on board , and I’d get 8 inputs and Bluetooth input for cheaper. I think the price is way too much for what this does
idk why.. the sound doesn't sound very good to me... the mic sounded not as clear and actually really muffled and the plosives were more pronounced.... a PASS FOR ME
Audio interfaces don't do anything for plosives. That happens on the mic, which was the rode podmic usb that hat that. Aside from that, I used 3 incredibly different microphones so, if you disliked the sound consistently, you disliked my voice, not the interface. I am getting over pneumonia and my voice still isn't 100%
@@PawFromTheBroons it's really a flaw of that podmic. You should be able to talk right into the end. My old podmic has an internal pop filter and apparently this one doesn't.
What do you think about the BEACN Studio? What Microphone would you hook up to this Audio Interface?
Well produced channel i must say, keep it up!
@@Soren.A thanks so much!
@@MiscastJoe You're welcome, your vids helps alot for a noob streamer :)
This might be a stupid question! But if your pc updates or the becon updates does it unselects the audio paths you set up like the Elgato?

hey Joe, can you adjust direct monitoring like 50% mix? sorry might be a dumb question

@@MiscastJoeYou might want to angle your PodMic off the corner of your mouth.

that being said, yes if I use it again I will
