Hey there. First, thanks for the kind words. In terms of Elgato vs. Razor's Stream Controller, I need to go Elgato for a number of reasons. First, the sheer choice of stream decks to fit your needs, be it 6 buttons, 32 buttons or button/knob combos. Second, Elgato's software is easier and more intuitive that Loupedeck's software, which is really optimized for their hardware, not the stream controller. Elgato has more integration with so many more products, but if we are just talking Elgato working with Elgato vs. Razor working with Razor, Elgato's is jus a better experience. Then the final thing is just the number of plugins that exist and have been created for the Stream deck that don't exist for Razor. That race isn't even close. I feel like Razor has abandoned that whole thing since Logitech bought Loupedeck anyways.

I think the Alias sounds a bit better but the Wave 3 has more compatability with other gear and a more robust software solution as a result. If you have a stream deck and want to be able to control your audio outside of the app, go with the Wave.

@@MiscastJoe Thank you for the reply! How does the Alias handle plosives without a pop filter? It doesn't seem there are any clean solution to attach a pop filter to the mic's body.

Whatever button you assign it to on your stream deck. I show what button I am pressing in the video.

I am editing on DaVinci Resolve.

It's just a little bit of EQ. Adjust the areas of the mic where you feel your voice needs enhancement. Want a little more bass? Raise the low frequencies about 3dB. Does the mic make your voice sound too muffled? lower the mid tones a bit. Add a little bit of presence to your voice by raising the higher frequencies a few dB. Make small adjustments til you find the sound that works best for you.

If you have an RTX GPU you can use NVidia noise removal, but you can also just use a noise gate, which will cut anything out below a certain threshold. When you are talking, though, you'll hear any noises that were being cut out.

Well I would never yuck someone's yum. All I can hope you have a phone you enjoy and can see other phones for what they are.

The mic sounded fine. Not great, but fine. I disagree, however, that the wind wasn't that bad. That was simply not broadcastable (except to show that it was not broadcastable). Their biggest failures outside of quality were that the product feels flimsy compared to the other options out there and they named it as if it was the more advanced version of their premium line of microphones and not the budget line that they are meant to be (which I didn't know until Saramonic told me when they saw the video). They aren't something I would recommend that you take in the field compared to other models and they are marketing themselves for disappointment.

Probably not. I would argue that you get a better overall quality from the MX Brio but not so much that it is worth spending more money to replace something already good. Also, so many users have called it a non-starter when they found out it wasn't Windows Hello-ready. I'd say stick with what you have and if you are looking for better quality video, work to improve lighting and other things that can do wonders and don't break the bank.

Most noise cancelation doesn't consider other voices as noise and thus won't try to cancel it. This is true of any mic or software, with a few exceptions like NVidia noise removal and Steelseries Sonar for Streamers (which you can use with any mic). Outside of that,you can keep your speakers lower and apply a noise gate, but that won't stop them from being heard when you are speaking. Best bet is to plug some headphones into the mic and prevent it entirely

@@MiscastJoe i fixed the issue. i recently got a elgato xlr and this beacn mix. i had to route all the audio thru the elgato xlr then into beacn mix. that seemed to do the job. it was confusing lol thanks for the fast reply dude! love the videos, keep up the amazing work. def. got a new sub!

Not on OBS I don't think, but doing with their App SHOULD work.

Well, you can actually use it in OBS but you'll need to connect the cameras to your laptop with our software first.

they run on a frequency that differs from the webcams. Test all anti-flicker options to see if it helps, but generally, you'll find that one is just slightly better than the other. I did see stuff on Elgato's light strips, though, and they don't seem to flicker at all.

It's a really cool little kit that definitely fills a lot of needs.

You can use an XLR mic or headset with this mixer. A USB mic won't work
