A superb Video Sir! My favourite class of locomotive and 2 of them to boot. Im so soo gutted I couldnt make this occasion owing to a hospital visit. But Im so glad so many people have shared their experiences of this event. Its not quite the same as being there but with a skilled cameraman behind the lense it certainly comes a close second! Thanks again mate for sharing. 😁😁😁
So many shots of this special!! But I just happen to know that bridge having cycled/driven over it often in the past, so that was great for me!! Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍👍👍
It's not very often that I say wow, but I just did! 😃 I spent the day at Didcot and am slowly adding my footage to my YT channel. I then went to Oxford and Banbury for the return trip and was rewarded at Oxford by a high speed run through the station. But it was nothing compared with the assault of Hatton Bank. My footage at Oxford and the departure from Banbury is on my channel, with further clips from Didcot to be added as time permits...
I'm confused by the film date. Do the English put the day or month first? Because we across the pond read 04/03/23 as April 3rd 2023. Or maybe it's in metric. 🤣
@@ronfisher2-railwaytravelvideos Thanks for clearing that up mate! I'll refrain from pointing out other silly British practices such as driving on the wrong side of the road etc. 😁
@@terryboyer1342 USA is the odd man out. Most nations use the logical 'day/month/year' format, not the USA version. A significant number of nations drive on the left side of the road, including populous Indonesia that was a former Dutch colony.
Spot on at 1.27..nice capture
Great shots!!!

The usual format in the U.K. is day, month, year. ie: 08/03/2023. However, we are aware that you do it the other way round which can cause confusion.

@@terryboyer1342 It's not just us! They do it Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, India...I could go on...
@@ronfisher2-railwaytravelvideos Well except for Japan aren't they all former British colonies? Might have something to do with it? 🤔 😜
