Thank you for your information video. I found them very helpful. My Pulsy has been with me about 18 months. I had been given guidence with what you advised. One I did was the tape and used small bandaids at the early stage, now I continue to massage. I have better vision with my effected eye now, but it does get the better of you at times. I watched an American lady Allana, who was only 30 and she had attitude, which I think is a good tool to send it on its way!! Thank you again . Regards Michael

One thing you can use is eye lubercant. The eye dries out faster with this disease and eye lid doesn't blink as much , so dries out quicker, you have use eye drops to keep your eyes moistened. I've had to since 2002. You may have trouble seeing at times.

Hi Neha, first of all there is no much connection between dryness of face and bell's palsy, the reason you see the difference is because of the changes in muscle bulk that happens due to paralysis. Taping the eye which Iv seen everywhere for facial palsy is so wrong . You cannot continuously do this as this will weaken your skin under your eye . Use kitchen cling film put it over your eye and tape around it . This keeps it moist and taping around cheeks and sides will not destroy the skin under your eye which ends up giving you a lot of wrinkles . It’s bad that those making the videos are people who have not suffered from facial palsy so don’t know what is affected in the long run . No disregard to you making the video but it is wrong to tape eye like this

Did yours ever resolve itself? I'm on day 3. Second time I've had it. First time was my left side, here I am now 10 years later on my right side. Ugh.

I heard taping can cause infection near eye...since the skin here is very sensitive

The watering of the eyes is the sign that your eyes are getting dry and irritated. Please see a neurologist nearby.
