Great review! Do you think Korg is slightly ahead of Arturia, Novation and Native Instruments if you use Ableton? And… do you think midi 2.0, full MPC and polyphonic aftertouch will be enough of a reason to buy a new midi controller keyboard in 2024?
Looks promising, though for stage I think you’d end up having to paint those buttons so you can find them easily. & I’m sure they could’ve fitted the wavestate joystick on there. But a big 👍 for not lighting it with every colour from the 🌈 , which seems to be the trend for most of the other manufacturers at the moment!
The very first notes you play include the 5th (I think?) above the actual note you're playing - but not always, the last E you played didn't hear any 2nd note play. Is that the synth patch you're using or are you using the "Chord" function? Also I don't find an iOS version of the Wavestate - where did you get that? Is it Mac OS only, and does it come with the controller keyboard?
Merci ! Thank you .i don’t know if it is me , but I can’t use the knobs to control the track volume ect to cubase ? Is it normal? Do I have to set my keystage in particular way ?
For this price its really sad that the keybed feels kind of cheap. I could live easily without the software-bundle and the build in audio-interface which seems to be part of the too high price. The form-factor of the 61 key version is perfect - with metal-case and better keybed for 499€ I would take it. They missed a big chance imho...
After a few days of using the Keystage I can say it works (with Ableton Live) perfect for me! Great work, Korg. Good video. Thx
Thank you for this excellent review - one of the best I discovered on TH-cam.
Fantastic. I did not know this was coming out! Korg continues to innovate.

The fact there is not stupid raised ridge box right next to the lower DO key is really neat.
Excellent review, thanks

WHat's the latency on a 64-sample buffer?
Vst preset integration with ableton?

So you are saying it has real wood panels?
How would this work with the Modwave and OpSix native software?
OpSix and Modwave native software can be used as VST plugins with your DAW.
