    With a Camaro as sweet as that, there is no radio needed. All you need to do is roll down the windows, listen to the exhaust note and smile knowing your behind the wheel of one fine 69. SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL...😍

      @@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate The only thing that Nick even pointed out was the headliner dropping down. It was new & who ever installed it wasn't paying much attention to detail. That cost the owner a few bucks, hell he might not even know the head liner has dropped down. Give the installer a chance. Let him see the result of his so called hard work. Chances are this headliner could be reworked for nothing. 70K is not flawless. I seen a 68 GTO sale on Mecum Auctions Kissimmee in Jan of 2021 for over 60K. Them dudes were fighting over it. I was laughing my ass off. It had an electrical issue that took out the right side lights & turn signal's. How much do you think it's going to cost the new owner to figure out where the short is? Oh yes, I know. That much money we just rip everything out & redo the right side wiring. Should work now, do you think?

    • @ellisonlowrimore7751
      @ellisonlowrimore7751 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I’m in agreement! 70K is a chunk of change with the modifications. The trim tag shows it’s a true X77 car so a real no frills Z28. X33 was with rail trim and decor. My next problem is it’s a 51 color Dusk Blue with a E white vinyl top originally. The interior is 716 which is dark blue. This my opinion when buying a real Z, there are somethings here that make me nervous if I was buying. I searched for a year for my TRUE RS/SS all date coded with matching numbers motor and trans 350 4-speed. Not as expensive as a Z. It’s a beautiful car but again it’s 70K

    Hate to be one of the few people to leave a negative comment. But it seems like you're resting your foot on the clutch a good bit.
    But with that being said, 75k is a steal for that rare of a car. You could buy that car, fix the headliner, figure out what's causing the surge and possibly find the original radio (if it had one) and get 100k easily in today's market.
    The mileage might be why its only 75k.
    Pretty cool that car is basically built and geared for racing.
    Would like to hear that car with a less restrictive exhaust. Almost every muscle car i see has flomaster.

    Very nice Z/28 that's not 100% correct but has some very good additions, whoever installed the headliner obviously didn't know what they were doing other than that nice car .

    Beautiful. Shut lines probably better than factory. Motors correct; original? Just a great thing for someone to own, should at least keep its value. Something that nice is also some responsibility though.

    I had a quick look at comparable cars in the US. Numbers matching with documentation look to be around $80k. Comparable cars range from $57k to $70k. So this price is in the right ballpark but at the upper end. At this price would have to see more information on the restoration. Before / during / after photographs etc. Others have indicated that this is not the original colour.

      @1982MCI 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can’t go by any of those numbers for a true value. It’s worth what it’s worth to the buyer standing in front of nick at the time. There are many more variables that go into putting a value on a car like this and no two will ever be the same.
      Fact is, if you have to hire shops to do the work to build one of these today, it’s gonna be far more than what he’s asking for this one. It’s a decent price on it and someone will snatch it soon even tho it’s not absolutely perfect, but it is damn nice!

      @@1982MCI I wasn’t knocking the price. I was actually trying to say that I thought that the price was fair, but I would need to see more information and set eyes on it . Unfortunately with COVID-19 that will not happen. I am sure this car will not last long.

    That motor doesn't like to be driven under 3000 rpm. Keep the revs up and it's happy. The temp gage under the hood is where Chevrolet put it. Rated at 290 HP, dynoed at 375. A race engine in a street car. Part 283, part 327, beefed up on the bottom end by 1969 it was pretty much purpose built for Trans Am racing, which was popular at the time. I looked at buying one at the time but instead bought a 396/350 Chevelle. Still quick for the time but a lot easier to manage on a day to day basis. Also, due to a lack of a choke, the 302 is a pain in the winter.
