I just replaced my gimble bearing, it was a perma lube , ill never install one again! Id rather grease regularly than put one of these waste of money parts.

Out of curiosity, how often should you change the non greasable bearing? Do you go by hours? Or wait for it to kick out (doubtful, but ya never know. Lol).

Good morning ☕️ great question. We replace it each time we remove outdrive and replace bellows.
For us…we like replacing it when the outdrive is completely removed from transom…it’s a very cost friendly part and we have the tools to pull the old one out and drive a new one in.
Personal preference at the end of the day however that has been our approach over the years.
