Also, Misha at one point described it as “floaty”, an issue I also had with my WRC. I found that changing the rear axle pivot bushes to SuperPro and adding H&R anti-roll bars removed this completely - I would go as far as saying it transformed the car..

@@rayco82 There have been plenty of discussions regarding ARB fitment, some believe a thinner ARB at the front aids turn in, others believe that both the front and rear should match otherwise you’ll end up with either an oversteering or understeering chassis… I fitted mine as a set, so I can’t comment on the handling with only the rear fitted. My thoughts are that H&R only seemed to sell them as a set so they should be fitted as one.. Also (sorry to go on 😅) if you’ve not already done so, make sure to change your front wishbone pivot bushes to superpro ones also… the standard bushes are so soft, you can see the front wheels move backwards when braking in a straight line… if these are stock you can imagine what happens to your front end geometry when hard cornering..
It's amazing to see an Mk5 Polo WRC go around the Nurburgring track. Mk5 VW Polo GT 1.0L TSI with 110hp is India's gold standard for car handling. there are Polos with 150Hp to 180Hp running reliably, yes from 1.0L engine. hoping to see those cars go around the track.

A big difference with my parents' '97 Corolla E10 1.6 16v with power steering..., you'd have no feeling at all! (great with parking though...)

I had the same tire on my Focus ST170 Estate, Michelin PSS in the smallest 17 inch size. I really wish tire manufacturers would still cater to smaller wheel diameters for performance tires...
I think you’ll find the steering will be lighter if you fit 17” wheels (or so I found) Those standard 18’s are very heavy and a nightmare to find decent tyres for as they are a strange size 😅

Misha... You show us how fast a "normal" car can be driven by talent. That's what I'm doing at the Golfclub. Hustle with guys who have a € 10.000 set of clubs and I challenge them with 20 year old blades😂

It seemed the powerband was higher in the rev range, the left foot braking didn't help. The car looked to be out of its preferred rev range. Next time try using engine compression to slow down so you will need less brake pedal action
