"is this all-wheel drive?" Who brought that donut to the party?

Jake Steele I've seen plenty of Range Rover goes up very steep hills I meant at like 45* it's on you tube ( 999 steps and made it all the way to top ) very impressive !

That trail is part of a system with two access/exit points. I did it today in the opposite direction from what you see here, in my '07 LR3. So yes, Rovers go up too. I had mine in extended suspension mode (not sure it would have made it in regular off road height).

Holy shoe! I could have barely walked by foot there, and you did it on your LR! Looks very creepy 😨

Squeaky brakes generally happen when they get really wet. Notice how they stop squeaking after heating up and drying off towards the bottom. Nothing to do with bad brakes.

Did you ride the brakes all the way down? What’s your crawl ratio on your tcase?

Not bad for street tires. Prob got some good bruising on those 4 ply, blow out on way home.

What can you say about ATR Scorpion? Did i make a right choice buying this tires to use next summer?

aksanov I found it wear fast. Even though it is an AT tire, it's still more road orientated. It did ok in the rocky trail in the video but it was not good at all in mud. I have since switch to BFG ATKO. PS. I got 7.4L/100KM city out of the pirelli but only 6.2L/100km from BFG in my vehicle.

Drewjai thx for your info. I wear this tyres a few days ago. Tryed them once in "black earth" mud. Much better than highway tyres. As i mostly use my car on highway, or solid and sand ground roads , i think this tyres are good unexpensive choice.

I dont understand why you would want to do this. Slow boring and hard on expensive vehicles. Why not dirt bike or quad the trails?

It's a Land Rover, it's what they are made to do, and don't knock it till you try it. It may look boring, but it's a blast when you are out there.

It's a land rover, it's made for this kinda stuff.

Totally agree with your comment. I actually have a LR3 in the garage and anyone who would intentionally beat a Land Rover up by pushing it to its limits either has too much money or doesn't understand how components wear during this type of abuse.
I just replaced the air shocks, air blocks, lower control arms, tie rod ends on mine and it was a two day ordeal. They wanted upwards of $4,500 to do it at the nearest authorized shop and I ended up knocking it out for $1,700, which is the cost of parts only. With this type of off roading those bushings in the control arms wouldn't last 15,000 miles before needing replacement. That's too expensive for anyone making an average wage.
Grab your dirt bike, side by side, or ATV and rip up and down that trail all day. They are truly designed for that and when you take out a sprocket or CV joint you have a hundred dollar repair instead of thousands :). Leave the LR3 to conquer the the snowy road, your friend's natural rock driveway, or that occasional hunting road that you wouldn't want to take your Audi up.
      Entertaining video though!
