Richard's Land Rover Off Road Event

I was invited to participate in a Land Rover Off Road Event, I believe it was sponsored by the Land Rover of Tacoma located in Fife, WA. a group of about 10 vehicles when up to the Tahuya State Forest in Belfair, WA. It was the first time I've done any of my off roading with a group, and I must say, It takes the pressure off ya knowing if anything go's bad, theirs help right there. I really enjoyed myself. I don't think that the video should be deleted but I do find it curious that the Disco was pulled out by a jeep when there were so many Land Rovers there. Was there no recovery equipment brought by the dealership? Was the jeep owned by a person at the dealership? And if so why did they bring it. I have no problem with the Disco getting stuck. Obviously it was driven by someone with not much off road experience. But, coming from someone who has led many Land Rover dealer events in the past, that was the perfect opportunity to teach proper recovery techniques with the Land Rover vehicles. And owners new to off roading LOVE to pull someone else out with their Land Rover. Overall it looks like a fun time.

I do like the video. It looks like some really neat trails. You got some great footage. I am not trying to hate I just don't like seeing jeeps pulling out a Land Rover at a dealer event. I am a little particular about that.

I am not saying that this is a bad video but I really didn't see the vehicles doing off road stuff. if you count uop the amount of time of just still video of the LR vehicles sitting...you have more of that footage than actual off road course footage...IMHO

When you go off-roading in a Land Rover , always remember to bring a few jeeps to get you out lol
