Just installed a Mishimoto trans cooler yesterday. Very simple installation. Everything fit perfectly which was awesome! To often aftermarket stuff doesn't quite line up or fit right. Slid this thing in and back together in a jiffy.

Hey Nate, we found no need during our testing but you could always add fans for extra heavy-duty towing situations.

Hello Aleta. While it would not be a direct fit unit for your 97, we do have quite a few customers adapting these to the previous generation vehicle. Apparently, the modifications required are quite straightforward, and should not be difficult for those who are mechanically inclined.

This would unfortunately not be a direct bolt on for the E series truck as they use a different mounting system than the F series trucks

Hello Steven. Currently, we have not done any testing with this unit on the OBS 7.3 Powerstrokes. With that being said, I could not guarantee fitment of this product on your vehicle.
