This is a recent onboard lap from the Nurburgring in our Hyundai I30N Performance.
Well done Hyundai for a great car.
Car is factory stock with exception been 18’ wheels and Kumho tyres + Audi RS3 brake ducts and Motul RBF 660 brake fluid

Funny just watched this Hyundai get beat by a Golf gti, Focus st and a merc A35 but with a tiny bit of research it appears the HYUNDAI i30 N is quicker than them all 🤔🤔 with a proper driver !!
The thing is that those others got better Names to them, apparently. ST almost always wins in GB, Golf GTI always wins in Germany (as long as its the super expensive Clubsport) and so on...

@@jamietonksracing7367 you are very experienced and fast driver,i've seen your other video's..i'm sure you will be the 1st with a I30N (under 8 minutes)..on the Nordschleife..respekt.. (i'm still waiting on my new I30N to arrive.. ;)
gixxerboy555 thanks for that. My fastest sections are very close to 8m flat however on a tourist days I’m just trying to drive safe and enjoy the setting. I’m sure we will get under 8mins eventually in the car
@@jamietonksracing7367 yeah bro...enjoy and staying safe is the most important thing..(but though...you're an amazing and very fast I30N-driver... subscribed allready.. ;)
I feel it can easily handle 7m45 to 7m50 if Hyundai would do the same thing Honda did: pro driver, strip some weight of the car, perfect conditions. I own mine for over 2 years now and wouldn't trade it for anything else in the same FWD ballpark. Hell, I wouldn't even want to trade it for many of current day RWD cars either. Someone would need to offer me at least a manual gearbox Porsche before I would consider :'D
TheDudeInTheRedHotHatch I reckon a better driver than me would get under 8 mins in a standard car for the BTG time. I don’t review my times during the lap so chasing times I reckon I could do that.
However on a tourist day I just want to enjoy the track and come home safe
@@jamietonksracing7367 ofcourse, like everyone should. TF is not for chasing laptimes. Not even track days tbh. Whenever there are other drivers on track I think fun and safety are more important than outright performance 😉

@@jamietonksracing7367 sport + is too hard for the circuit? when I ran I did it in N mode, if some corners go wrong but the rest was fine or better i think?
what oil temps do you see ?
Hi. I think it was around 120. I am going to change to 0w40 I think to help this
