This is basically everything I believe. The only differences are, I'm not 100% sure about soul-sleep. I've been going back and forth about that. Could you by any chance help with some verses? The vegetarian lifestyle is practiced by roughly 1/2 of Seventh-day Adventists. It isn't compulsory, but highly recommended, as it is close to the original diet of Adam and Eve. . Steps to Christ is a wonderful book. May God send his Holy Spirit to guide you in your walk with Jesus, as you learn more and more about what he wants us to do. As an SDA myself, I find this video spot on! It's very simplified in regards to history, but all the basics are there. I'm happy you mentioned that EGW's works are secondary to the Bible. However I'd suggest to compare EGW with other church-founding prophets of her time (19th, also 18th century). These include: Joseph Smith (Mormons), Mother Ann Lee (Shakers), Emanuel Swedenborg (Swedenborgianism), and Mary Baker Eddy (Christian Science). It's known these so-called prophets had quite outrageous doctrinal claims. And then try to find any similarly outrageous claims made by Ellen G. White, that could make her a false prophet.

The sabbath was instituted at creation (so not just for Jews) and is the 4th commandment. Jesus came to fulfill the law and not abolish it, and He kept the sabbath. He would never change his law, but the Catholic Church and Constantine changed the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, and that’s actually the “tradition of men” that people keep rather than following the Bible. Trying to say “Jesus is the sabbath” is just a vague term that doesn’t even make sense, and Jesus never once made a comment that he’s “now the sabbath” so people no longer have to observe it. Also He never said to “keep whatever day you want”… He said to “remember” the 7th day as sabbath..because He knew people would forget it.
Abrahamic covenant is based on law and grace. Mosaic or sinaitic covenant is based on law and grace. Jesus and new covenant is based on law and grace. Apostle Paul and New covenant was based on Law and grace. The only difference between old and new covenant is not law and grace but shadow versus reality. We worship Jesus on the Sabbath day because He is our creator and redeemer. Jesus rested on creation sabbath and rested on redemption sabbath in the grave. So we are one with christ in his creation and redemption by resting in christ on the sabbath day.

I am not 7th day, but I am curious on their lifestyle, as I work with two. I am happy to know them both, and curiosity challenge's me to understand more. Some doctrinal differences are most definitely there, for I come from a Mennonite background, and fail to see the importance or relevance of some of their arguments, but still we share the bible as our common ground. Jesus is my God and I love him, he has transformed me into a whole new creation, and for someone to say to me that I will go to hell absolutly for not keeping sabbath on saturday instead of SONday, really irritates me, and does sow division, even though I try not to let it get to me, for salvation is not found in a day, but in Jesus, a relationship with the king. Their sabbath arguement can be convincing, but not convincing enough. I'm concerned about the gap between Adventists and Christians, that this gap may always cause division between the two sects. I'm assuming this was done by a non-Adventist. He also said Adventists confess the triune God, like all the mainstream churches. This Catholic teaching only came into our church a few years ago. And the dead shall be raised in corruptable and we shall be changed for this mortal shall put on immortality (referencing 1 Corinthians 15.) With this and what i have gathered from Revelation 12 and 20 especially there is likely to be an everlasting destruction than an end to it. Now there are suggestions also that there will be and end to destructon but very mild. I believe Revelation 20 talks about a 2nd death but i disagree with the teaching as i said before.
Thanks for this video. It is simple and easy to follow. I am guessing that the term "soul sleep" was used because it puts the Seventh-day Adventist understanding of death in terms that people who believe in conscious souls after death can understand. However, it is not a term that Seventh-day Adventists use because we do not conceive of the soul as possessing consciousness--or a separate existence--after death. We believe that the soul is the union of the body and the breath of life, as can be found in Genesis 2:7.

As a born SDA I love how you accurately depicted the religion in just a short amount of time, however personally I disagree with the term prophetess used to describe EGW, i agree and believe that she has had devine interventions which has dictated her books and scriptural knowledge which praise be to God for her role and purpose but i think she is more of a scribe or rabbi than a prophet
Excellent presentation! I would edit one thing -- Adventists do not take every statement in the Bible as literal truth. We recognize the presence of poetry, metaphor, hyperbole, and other literary devices in the Biblical text, and these affect its interpretation. I am Adventist for 50 years now, converted as an adult from another Christian denomination.

To your other point, what you are intimating is that the decalogue i.e. the Sabbath is required for salvation. However, believers in Christ are under a new covenant Romans 10:4. And when SDAs hear/see the word commandment they automatically think of the decalogue/nomos when the commandments of Christ as taught in the new testament is entole. Christ followers walk with Him and will bear fruit.

The biggest problem is the Investigative Judgement. Christ's atoning work was finished at the cross. Jesus cried out "It is finished" (John 19:30). There is no mention of a secondary work in heaven in the Bible. They are adding to the finished work of Christ. If the Bible is their primary source of truth, then why is this a doctrine for them? It's because they had to salvage the wreckage of guessing wrong the date for the second coming of Christ and losing all their followers.

I like you overall view of the SDA Church . I am SDA I see you picture as close to accurate possible . I have not heard of soul sleep . However the Bible makes it clear that the dead are dead until JESUS CHRIST comes on the clouds of Heavenly Host then the Righteous living and the dead rise to meet HIM in the air .
Our God is the God of the living. One of His achievements on the Calvary was harrowing of the Hell when He went down to preach Gospel to the souls in prison (1 Peter 3,19). Besides... what did He promise to the thief on the cross.?

The presentation was concise and accurate, but the first teaching is salvation and righteousness by faith in Jesus Christ alone. All "good works" earn us no merit toward salvation, but are simply the result and evidence of Jesus living in the believer's heart through the Holy Spirit.
Many may not heard of us, or actually meet one of us in person. That’s because most of us live sheltered lives all the way to adulthood. We are brought up through private church-run academies which are mostly located out in the boonies so we won’t be exposed to worldliness. Or we are home schooled. Almost never will you have encountered one of us in your worldly public schools, because then we might get used to your worldly ways and be tempted to go to prom on Friday night, the beginning of the Sabbath. Then we live in “Adventist ghetto’s”, usually where there is one of our colleges or hospitals. Then we work in our church-run hospitals, so you might know us from those, or better yet, work at one of our schools or churches. All the better to protect us from worldly ways such as exposure to caffeine and mustard.
Half of my family are SDA, half Catholic, some are Born Again Christians. I believe if you read the Bible, your love to Jesus is shown through works without complaints. Some are just good with words, others are seen through works and daily living

I am not yet a member of SDA, but my wife was before she passed away. I attended some of the services with her and was surprised that the church is not a "cult" as many people believe. I have seen several videos that imply that the church is not a valid Christian denomination. I had to control my anger and not make inflammatory comments. One problem with Christianity is that there are so many denominations, each claiming that their way is the only way. I have read the bible, but I don't understand much of it. I believe in God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! I was raised in a Pentecostal Church and was subjected to ridicule and unkind treatment. After I was old enough I drifted away from religion in general but maintained my core belief in God. I am considering becoming a member of SDA.
Here are some thoughts which may help you with your decision: • Do you believe that Jesus’ death on the cross acted as a full atonement (payment) for sins? The Church says no. You will need to work toward - and achieve - a state of perfection while on earth. “Sins” such as failure to keep the sabbath and meat eating will disqualify you from entering heaven. • According to inspired church prophet Ellen White, eating any meat, eggs, butter, salt, pepper, spices, and especially pork (which produces leprosy) will “animalize” the recipient, diminishing health and morals. • You will have no assurance of salvation, since you will stand before a Holy God and give account of all the wrongs you have done vs the good things; you will not know if you pass that test until after you have died. If these aberrant beliefs seem not to square with sound Biblical principles, you are right, and you may be inclined to shy away from them.
@@Jaco3688 I have been to many SDA services and none have mentioned this nonsense. The choice of diet is personal and the church does not require a vegetarian diet. I don't think Jesus was a vegetarian, but the church does recommend a healthy selection of foods. That's just plain common sense. As for personal salvation, I am prepared to accept the judgment of God. I ask for justice not mercy. If that condemns me to hell, so be it. When one becomes a member of the SDA church, one must pledge fealty to the “28 Fundamental Beliefs”. Belief #18 is the acceptance of Ellen White as a latter day prophet, who was inspired similarly to Paul and the rest of the Apostles. I have a problem with this at the outset. Mrs White made proscriptions on health in 1863 (The Health Reform), some of which were fine, many of which (now known today) were downright ridiculous. Her most prominent was that of not eating “the flesh of dead animals”. She said, “But we do say that flesh meat is not the right food for God’s people. It animalizes human beings.” “A development of animalize lessens spirituality, rendering the mind incapable of understanding truth”. Her books are replete with references to the debilitating results of eating meat.” And “The eating of pork produces leprosy.” One could write an entire book on the fallacies proffered by Mrs White. However, suffice it to say that the strict adherence to Mrs White’s dictates are a MUST if you wish to be in good standing with the SDA Church proper.

I say these things not to “win an argument”, but, after 35 years of dealing with the Church (my wife is SDA - as is her side of the family), I’ve found that there are multiple layers of doctrine which you will not be told which run so counter to true Biblical beliefs that the embracing of them will disallow one’s entrance into heaven. And tragically, many SDA members are painfully unaware of these subversive doctrines. Let me give you another example. Orthodox Christianity will tell you that Jesus took our place and died on the cross, atoning (paying for) our sin, if we accept it as a gift. Not so, says Mrs White. “The blood of Christ, while it was to release the repentant sinner from the condemnation OF THE LAW, was not to cancel sin”, rather it provided a time of “parole” where the sinner needed to learn to live a perfected life, which is the key to entry into the Kingdom of heaven. Upon death, your life will have been evaluated to determine whether you reached a level of perfection needed for entry. This evaluation takes place in what they call “The Investigative Judgement”, where God the Father will determine if you’ve achieved an acceptable state of perfection. If not, you will be dispatched to the Lake of Fire for annihilation. According to Ellen, nobody can know if they’ve measured up until they stand in judgement in the Investigative Judgement. Yikes! You won’t hear this preached from the pulpit because it runs far too counter to the Bible. I've been attending the same Adventist church for 58 years. During all that time, I have never heard the term "soul sleep" used at any time in church. It's not in any of our books or literature. I think the words "soul sleep" was originated by other churches that opposed the Adventist teaching that when you are dead, you are dead all over. They don't like that, so they came up with the " Adventists believe in soul sleep" idea to ridicule it.

Adventists were deeply disappointed when Jesus did not return in October 1844 some of the people's came back to the Word of God in the Holy Bible nd learnt that the Scripture about the Sanctuary being cleansed in 1844 was the Heavenly Sanctuary. So they Studied and Prayed and they also learnt about God's 7th Day Sabbath. They came to realise that they needed a deeper understanding of God's Word and the Position of Jesus Christ from the Holy to the Most Holy Place in the Sanctuary. They studied more carefully the books of Genesus, Exodus, Leviticus, Isaiah, Daniel and Revelation. Through losses and death of her loved one, the LORD instructed Ellen G. White to learn about Health Reform and to practice this, which afforded Adventist then to become 7th-Day Adventists, a movement of people who recognised the connection between a Healthy Mind, Body & Soul through Christ Jesus. The disciples were not prophets, nor were they self-proclaimed prophets. EGW was a self-proclaimed prophet, and some of her prophecies failed. Therefore, using the test of a true prophet as written in the Bible, she was a false prophet. The entire SDA denomination is based on the writings of a false prophet! Instead of arguing about the Sabbath, which she got wrong, or the investigative judgment, which is not Biblical, or many other of her messages, I strongly suggest you prayerfully and with an open mind, do a deep dive into the Bible and into her writings, and try to prove me wrong. That's what I did, and the truth of the Bible set me free of the lies of Adventism that I'd been indoctrinated for my whole life. The gospel is simple, and God's word is sufficient. Satan has influenced many denominations to make them convoluted and works based like the SDAs. I pray that adventists find the truth of the simple gospel and simply follow the Bible.

The seventh day of the week is Saturday. Sunday is first day of the week. For example resurrection of Christ according to the Bible took place on the first day of the week which is the day on which both Catholics and Protestants celebrate Easter. However, no where in the Bible Sunday has been honored as the Sabbath day. It is the invention of Rome which fulfilled the prophecy of the power that would think to change law and times. When you read the New Testament letters to the church, they are never taught to meet on the Jewish Sabbath. Whatever Constantine and the Catholic church "changed" had nothing to do with it and happened many centuries later.
Investigative judgement alone renders this religion a cult. Bible John 3:16's tells of the ultimate act by The Son of God. Sda do not acknowledge this to be the case.
We claim that it is a possibility, due to the similarities. But like anything in the Bible we must be careful not to misinterpret it meaning, only through prayer and reverence can anybody hope to accurately understand God's word. However different from other Christian denominations, Bible study is extensive we study every aspect of the Bible, and look at it as a whole, we don't pick and choose the parts we like, we read and study every single individual verse. My church has a better understanding of God's word due to the fact that our members are mostly people who have left their church of origin due to personal struggles about parts of the Bible that have not been fully explained and understood. People come to my church because they are curious about God's word, and we simply offer knowledge to help them begin there own journey of studying God's word. My church studies every religion on earth, from youth we are taught to understand what other people believe and why we believe what we believe. I love Jesus, and strive to live like he did everyday of my life, and when I make a mistake I simply ask for his forgiveness. Catholic's and Luciferian religious groups particularly "hate" my church because we have exposed their role in the deception of our world. I'm not anti-catholic, I'm anti deception. However, I am most definitely and obviously anti-Luciferien and occult religious groups. That catholic church has been used by the Devil to harm many people and many of our members are Ex-Catholics. Christ was speaking to the Sabbath keepers in Mark 7:9. And, now let me show you how well it fits to the Adventists and their like. In Acts 15: The Jewish Apostles gave *a commandment from God* by "The Holy Spirit" *not try to impose the or even preach the Moses and Old Covenant laws upon the Gentiles who had come to Christ" lest they be cursed. And, the Adventist Church who ...*Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition."* (Mark 7:9, KJV)" rebel against the Apostolic decree and do the exact opposite of what the Apostles. The vegetarian lifestyle is practiced by roughly 1/2 of Seventh-day Adventists. It isn't compulsory, but highly recommended, as it is close to the original diet of Adam and Eve.

Steps to Christ is a wonderful book. May God send his Holy Spirit to guide you in your walk with Jesus, as you learn more and more about what he wants us to do. Oh yes, please remember that salvation is a free gift, and we cannot add anything to that, but we keep Jesus' commandments because we love him.

As an SDA myself, I find this video spot on! It's very simplified in regards to history, but all the basics are there. I'm happy you mentioned that EGW's works are secondary to the Bible. However I'd suggest to compare EGW with other church-founding prophets of her time (19th, also 18th century). It's known these so-called prophets had quite outrageous doctrinal claims. And then try to find any similarly outrageous claims made by Ellen G. White, that could make her a false prophet.

Wouldn’t it be a game changer is all believers would come to the understanding that Christ is our sabbath as a result of the death and resurrection of the Lord . Now, he is living in us and we no longer live, but Christ in us is our new covenant rest . So the sabbath in the new covenant is a person, and not a day . Can we gather on a certain day? Of course , as the Lord directs you, it can be any day , for if two or three are together, he is there . What happens is the traditions of religion and man’s control have brought it back to law , which is the law of sin and death . The sabbath was instituted at creation (so not just for Jews) and is the 4th commandment. Jesus came to fulfill the law and not abolish it, and He kept the sabbath. He would never change his law, but the Catholic Church and Constantine changed the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, and that’s actually the “tradition of men” that people keep rather than following the Bible. Trying to say “Jesus is the sabbath” is just a vague term that doesn’t even make sense, and Jesus never once made a comment that he’s “now the sabbath” so people no longer have to observe it. Also He never said to “keep whatever day you want”… He said to “remember” the 7th day as sabbath..because He knew people would forget it.

I am not 7th day, but I am curious on their lifestyle, as I work with two. I am happy to know them both, and curiosity challenge's me to understand more. Some doctrinal differences are most definitely there, for I come from a Mennonite background, and fail to see the importance or relevance of some of their arguments, but still we share the bible as our common ground. Jesus is my God and I love him, he has transformed me into a whole new creation, and for someone to say to me that I will go to hell absolutly for not keeping sabbath on saturday instead of SONday, really irritates me, and does sow division, even though I try not to let it get to me, for salvation is not found in a day, but in Jesus, a relationship with the king. Their sabbath arguement can be convincing, but not convincing enough. I'm concerned about the gap between Adventists and Christians, that this gap may always cause division between the two sects. And the dead shall be raised in corruptable and we shall be changed for this mortal shall put on immortality (referencing 1 Corinthians 15.) With this and what i have gathered from Revelation 12 and 20 especially there is likely to be an everlasting destruction than an end to it. Now there are suggestions also that there will be and end to destructon but very mild. I believe Revelation 20 talks about a 2nd death but i disagree with the teaching as i said before.

I am guessing that the term "soul sleep" was used because it puts the Seventh-day Adventist understanding of death in terms that people who believe in conscious souls after death can understand. However, it is not a term that Seventh-day Adventists use because we do not conceive of the soul as possessing consciousness--or a separate existence--after death. We believe that the soul is the union of the body and the breath of life, as can be found in Genesis 2:7.

I would edit one thing -- Adventists do not take every statement in the Bible as literal truth. We recognize the presence of poetry, metaphor, hyperbole, and other literary devices in the Biblical text, and these affect its interpretation.

To your other point, what you are intimating is that the decalogue i.e. the Sabbath is required for salvation. However, believers in Christ are under a new covenant Romans 10:4. And when SDAs hear/see the word commandment they automatically think of the decalogue/nomos when the commandments of Christ as taught in the new testament is entole. Christ followers walk with Him and will bear fruit.

The biggest problem is the Investigative Judgement. Christ's atoning work was finished at the cross. Jesus cried out "It is finished" (John 19:30). There is no mention of a secondary work in heaven in the Bible. They are adding to the finished work of Christ. If the Bible is their primary source of truth, then why is this a doctrine for them? It's because they had to salvage the wreckage of guessing wrong the date for the second coming of Christ and losing all their followers.
Spot-on. The IJ diminishes Jesus’ work on the cross. When Jesus said, “It is finished”, according to SDAs, He really meant, “I bought you some time” so you can prove that you merit heaven. This is a disqualifying belief.

The presentation was concise and accurate, but the first teaching is salvation and righteousness by faith in Jesus Christ alone. All "good works" earn us no merit toward salvation, but are simply the result and evidence of Jesus living in the believer's heart through the Holy Spirit.
Many may not heard of us, or actually meet one of us in person. That’s because most of us live sheltered lives all the way to adulthood. We are brought up through private church-run academies which are mostly located out in the boonies so we won’t be exposed to worldliness. Or we are home schooled. Almost never will you have encountered one of us in your worldly public schools, because then we might get used to your worldly ways and be tempted to go to prom on Friday night, the beginning of the Sabbath. Then we live in “Adventist ghetto’s”, usually where there is one of our colleges or hospitals. Then we work in our church-run hospitals, so you might know us from those, or better yet, work at one of our schools or churches. All the better to protect us from worldly ways such as exposure to caffeine and mustard.

I am not yet a member of SDA, but my wife was before she passed away. I attended some of the services with her and was surprised that the church is not a "cult" as many people believe. I have seen several videos that imply that the church is not a valid Christian denomination. I had to control my anger and not make inflammatory comments. One problem with Christianity is that there are so many denominations, each claiming that their way is the only way. I have read the bible, but I don't understand much of it. I believe in God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! I was raised in a Pentecostal Church and was subjected to ridicule and unkind treatment. After I was old enough I drifted away from religion in general but maintained my core belief in God. I am considering becoming a member of SDA.
Here are some thoughts which may help you with your decision:
• Do you believe that Jesus’ death on the cross acted as a full atonement (payment) for sins? The Church says no. You will need to work toward - and achieve - a state of perfection while on earth. “Sins” such as failure to keep the sabbath and meat eating will disqualify you from entering heaven.
• According to inspired church prophet Ellen White, eating any meat, eggs, butter, salt, pepper, spices, and especially pork (which produces leprosy) will “animalize” the recipient, diminishing health and morals.
• You will have no assurance of salvation, since you will stand before a Holy God and give account of all the wrongs you have done vs the good things; you will not know if you pass that test until after you have died.
If these aberrant beliefs seem not to square with sound Biblical principles, you are right, and you may be inclined to shy away from them.
@@Jaco3688 I have been to many SDA services and none have mentioned this nonsense. The choice of diet is personal and the church does not require a vegetarian diet. I don't think Jesus was a vegetarian, but the church does recommend a healthy selection of foods. That's just plain common sense. As for personal salvation, I am prepared to accept the judgment of God. I ask for justice not mercy. If that condemns me to hell, so be it. In short, I can be a member of any church and still maintain the freedom to live as I see fit. Ellen White had her beliefs and I have mine. As for SDA being a cult, name a church that isn't a cult?
@ You, my friend, have a very healthy attitude toward diet; unfortunately it runs counter to the official position of the SDA church.
When one becomes a member of the SDA church, one must pledge fealty to the “28 Fundamental Beliefs”. Belief #18 is the acceptance of Ellen White as a latter day prophet, who was inspired similarly to Paul and the rest of the Apostles. I have a problem with this at the outset.
Mrs White made proscriptions on health in 1863 (The Health Reform), some of which were fine, many of which (now known today) were downright ridiculous. Her most prominent was that of not eating “the flesh of dead animals”. She said, “But we do say that flesh meat is not the right food for God’s people. It animalizes human beings.” “A development of animalize lessens spirituality, rendering the mind incapable of understanding truth”.
Her books are replete with references to the debilitating results of eating meat.” And “The eating of pork produces leprosy.”
One could write an entire book on the fallacies proffered by Mrs White. However, suffice it to say that the strict adherence to Mrs White’s dictates are a MUST if you wish to be in good standing with the SDA Church proper.

If true I will not become a member, but when my wife joined the church before her death she didn't mention any of this to me, and like me, she ate anything she chose to eat. Your opposition seems to center on Ellen White. I will read her books and come to my own conclusion. Thank you for your information.

I say these things not to “win an argument”, but, after 35 years of dealing with the Church (my wife is SDA - as is her side of the family), I’ve found that there are multiple layers of doctrine which you will not be told which run so counter to true Biblical beliefs that the embracing of them will disallow one’s entrance into heaven. And tragically, many SDA members are painfully unaware of these subversive doctrines.
Let me give you another example. Orthodox Christianity will tell you that Jesus took our place and died on the cross, atoning (paying for) our sin, if we accept it as a gift. Not so, says Mrs White. “The blood of Christ, while it was to release the repentant sinner from the condemnation OF THE LAW, was not to cancel sin”, rather it provided a time of “parole” where the sinner needed to learn to live a perfected life, which is the key to entry into the Kingdom of heaven. Upon death, your life will have been evaluated to determine whether you reached a level of perfection needed for entry. This evaluation takes place in what they call “The Investigative Judgement”, where God the Father will determine if you’ve achieved an acceptable state of perfection. If not, you will be dispatched to the Lake of Fire for annihilation.
According to Ellen, nobody can know if they’ve measured up until they stand in judgement in the Investigative Judgement.

the 1844 event was not a prophecy it was a prediction. Big difference. Men studied and predicted an event to happen at that time. There was no prophesying that it would happen.

The early SDA church didn’t believe in the Trinity. Some members still hold to that doctrine even though most have moved towards the Trinity doctrine.

The cleansing of the sanctuary is when the high priest goes into the most holy place once a year at yom Kippur. The 2300 years started in 456 BC and ended in 1844. That's when Jesus moved into the most holy place, where the law of God is, and we learned that we were breaking the Sabbath of the 10 commandments, and repented of that transgression, and started keeping the Sabbath.

I've been attending the same Adventist church for 58 years. During all that time, I have never heard the term "soul sleep" used at any time in church. It's not in any of our books or literature. I think the words "soul sleep" was originated by other churches that opposed the Adventist teaching that when you are dead, you are dead all over. They don't like that, so they came up with the " Adventists believe in soul sleep" idea to ridicule it.
Im seventh-day adventist, and all of this is correct, but we can eat clean meats. However elen g white claims it is not good to eat to much meat because of fat.

Adventists were deeply disappointed when Jesus did not return in October 1844 some of the people's came back to the Word of God in the Holy Bible nd learnt that the Scripture about the Sanctuary being cleansed in 1844 was the Heavenly Sanctuary.
So they Studied and Prayed and they also learnt about God's 7th Day Sabbath.
They came to realise that they needed a deeper understanding of God's Word and the Position of Jesus Christ from the Holy to the Most Holy Place in the Sanctuary.
They studied more carefully the books of Genesus, Exodus, Leviticus, Isaiah, Daniel and Revelation.
Through losses and death of her loved one, the LORD instructed Ellen G. White to learn about Health Reform and to practice this, which afforded Adventist then to become 7th-Day Adventists, a movement of people who recognised the connection between a Healthy Mind, Body & Soul through Christ Jesus.

The disciples were not prophets, nor were they self-proclaimed prophets. EGW was a self-proclaimed prophet, and some of her prophecies failed. Therefore, using the test of a true prophet as written in the Bible, she was a false prophet. The entire SDA denomination is based on the writings of a false prophet! Instead of arguing about the Sabbath, which she got wrong, or the investigative judgment, which is not Biblical, or many other of her messages, I strongly suggest you prayerfully and with an open mind, do a deep dive into the Bible and into her writings, and try to prove me wrong. That's what I did, and the truth of the Bible set me free of the lies of Adventism that I'd been indoctrinated for my whole life. The gospel is simple, and God's word is sufficient. Satan has influenced many denominations to make them convoluted and works based like the SDAs. I pray that adventists find the truth of the simple gospel and simply follow the Bible.

But there are 3 three Organized SDA Churches, and than there are independent Seventh Day Adventist that don't believe in the General Conferences for they have not kept the principals of faith so that they believe that the organised Churches have compromised and they have fallen, and Apostisized.

The seventh day of the week is Saturday. Sunday is first day of the week. For example resurrection of Christ according to the Bible took place on the first day of the week which is the day on which both Catholics and Protestants celebrate Easter.
However, no where in the Bible Sunday has been honored as the Sabbath day. It is the invention of Rome which fulfilled the prophecy of the power that would think to change law and times. The law has been changed by removal of second commandment of God and 4th commandment which includes time.

In the book of Daniel 7:25 is written: " He shall think to change times and laws." Therefore that power of antichrist has tried to change God's law and times through the second and fourth commandment of the Bible. Yet Jesus said that He did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill. Jesus rested the Sabbath day(Saturday) which was not only for Jews but instituted in Genesis 2:3 for all human kind. Therefore, Sunday is institution of counterfeit power but Seventh day of the week is Saturday.
After Christ's death and resurrection, Jesus appeared to the deciples several times on the first day of the week, Sunday. As the gentile church was being established by the apostles, they also met on the first day. When you read the New Testament letters to the church, they are never taught to meet on the Jewish Sabbath. Contrary to the argument of SDAs, the early church was meeting on Sundays from the beginning. It's known as the Lord's Day, not the Sabbath. Jesus is our Sabbath rest. Whatever Constantine and the Catholic church "changed" had nothing to do with it and happened many centuries later.

Investigative judgement alone renders this religion a cult. Bible John 3:16's tells of the ultimate act by The Son of God.

We claim that it is a possibility, due to the similarities. But like anything in the Bible we must be careful not to misinterpret it meaning, only through prayer and reverence can anybody hope to accurately understand God's word. However different from other Christian denominations, Bible study is extensive we study every aspect of the Bible, and look at it as a whole, we don't pick and choose the parts we like, we read and study every single individual verse. My church has a better understanding of God's word due to the fact that our members are mostly people who have left their church of origin due to personal struggles about parts of the Bible that have not been fully explained and understood. People come to my church because they are curious about God's word, and we simply offer knowledge to help them begin there own journey of studying God's word. My church studies every religion on earth, from youth we are taught to understand what other people believe and why we believe what we believe. I love Jesus, and strive to live like he did everyday of my life, and when I make a mistake I simply ask for his forgiveness. Catholic's and Luciferian religious groups particularly "hate" my church because we have exposed their role in the deception of our world. I'm not anti-catholic, I'm anti deception. However, I am most definitely and obviously anti-Luciferien and occult religious groups.
That catholic church has been used by the Devil to harm many people and many of our members are Ex-Catholics. Also, many countries in South America that have been converted to Catholic over the course of atleast 500 years, have now been converted to my church in only a span of less than a century, we are the 2nd largest church in South America, especially in Peru a Catholic Dominated country since the Spanish Conquest of Francisco Pizarro.
