Great question! Zip Kits are a “first step” to address low wear castings that can be repaired without tooling. Sure Cure Kits are more comprehensive, and typically require reaming to correct worn bores in higher mileage units. Hope that helps, thank you!
@Brian Jones While adding the o-rings is still a good long-term repair, they are NOT a substitute for reaming. O-rings are typically only used on end plugs, which can help if that’s the only place it leaks. The reality, however, is that the valve and bore can leak as well. Over time the constant valve oscillation wears the casting, which creates excessive clearances that will cause control issues. Because the valve is not stationary like an end plug, o-rings don’t really work well because they can stick and get caught on the sharp worm tracks and uneven bore surfaces. Once wear gets to this point, the only way to restore clearances is with a reamer and oversized valve. Hope that helps. Thanks for reaching out!
sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot my account password. I love any tips you can give me
