From what I know the TC is getting also ballanced like a wheel except the mechanic is using small welding points to create a counter weight :) Very interesting actually

hi, i have a mercedes c 180 w203. I have problems with the gearbox when it is not warmed up and I put it in D I feel a vibration, and when it warms up the gearbox calms down. the complete oil and filter were changed. and it's the same again, could it be next to the converter.??
That doesn't sound like torque converter issues. If you have a p0741 error code then it's most likely torque converter. Your issue sounds less severe as most transmissions act up when warmed up. So if your transmission drives fine when hot, then you don't really have anything to worry about. It may even have nothing to do with your transmission. Check the engine and transmission mounts, and have the car scanned for error codes.
@@Carmafixcars only when I put it in D and hold the brakes then it shakes up to 10 km/h. while driving, everything is normal only when I'm in a place and in D. and when I put it in N or P, the gearbox is normal.
on the computer it says no problems everything is fine. I replaced the engine mounts, the oil and the filter in the transmission, and again there is no difference. thank you
Thank you for interest in Kinergo products. The only way to change the oil in the torque converter is to cut it open, clean and weld it back. All other ways are partial, some ATF will remain inside anyway. Write to sales@kinergo.eu, our technical specialists will answer all your questions.
@@lordbentley730 The oil in the transmissions constantly circulates from one units to others (including from and to the torque converter). So it lasts the same period in all the parts of transmissions. The ATF lifetime is set up by different manufacturers in a different way. The majority of manufacturers recommend not to change the ATF during the whole life of transmissions. But transmissions rebuilders recommend to make partial or full ATF change every 40 000 - 60 000km

Or you could buy a new torque converter! This is garbage! Is not costing an arm an a leg and a brand new converter is keeping you safe from assembling disassembling the car if you did something wrong! Very small tolerances! Also needs to be ensure dynamic equilibrium. Is far to complicated and useless !
