Nothing is optimal...good knowledge about the area, 3-4 publications and writing skills are enough to get postdoc

there is a long process to change from J1 to other visa with home country rule.. video are there on my channel

Sir, I have recently completed my Ph.D. from IIT and worked on Probiotic edible films and coatings and gluten free food products. Currently I am looking for Postdoctoral position so that later I can get the job in R&D sector in Food industry in abroad. This is difficult to get job in industries directly without any experience in abroad. Is there scope in my research field (Food Biotechnology, edible coatings) in USA? Your analytical and food research area have scope. you should get job in Industry. Getting industry job abroad in tough and rare.. but you can get postdoc and later transition.

postdoc is temporary training for academic career path. good for short term but in longer run you need to choose academic or industry career path.

Can you tell me how easy to get a Ph.D. position in the USA? Actually, my wife is doing MSc in microbiology from Faizabad University. Is it possible to get a PhD position within a year in any nearby University?
Ask her to prepare for GRE to get in best labs.. once you are here, ask her to volunteer in labs, internal contact also matter a lot.. she should get easily
