I understand that she’s a modern woman, attempting to address the issues faced by Pakistani men and the traditional mindset of Pakistani society. However, this is where I feel a disconnect. I grew up as a first-generation British Asian woman with Pakistani parents, but I was raised in the UK, balancing my belief system with a Westernized upbringing. For the first 35 years of my life, I followed a mix of cultural values that stemmed from both Pakistani and Indian influences, which I initially thought was synonymous with being Muslim. However, to truly understand my faith, I had to start from scratch as an adult, reading the Quran with knowledge and tafseer, learning my rights and responsibilities, as well as my husband’s, as outlined in Islam. These roles are distinct yet straightforward, much simpler than what culture imposes on us. What she’s advocating aligns with the perspective of a modern British woman, which isn’t inherently wrong, but it doesn’t necessarily apply in Pakistan, a country sharply divided between the wealthy, Westernized elite and those deeply religious or unaware of true Islamic teachings. This divide is enormous, and it’s unrealistic to impose these modern ideas on those who either don’t understand or follow Islam from a cultural standpoint rather than with knowledge. Islam is clear and unchanging, and as Muslims, we’re accountable to Allah alone. Good intentions aside, we can’t alter the rules set out in our faith. We need to revisit the Quran and Hadith with an open mind to realign ourselves. Otherwise, we’re at risk of losing our way. I do however agree heavily on therapy and this is allowed in deen. Quran told clearly relashionship importance. If husband is on deen why he will cimmit zina? If women is in parda hijab why men will need to do cheating. Understand quran and have tawaqal on Allah.
Confused so funny because we love copying different cultures indian or western
Because there is no such thing as Pakistani culture
You must invite real.struggler woman who is common educated woman who takes stand against cheating husband and she prefers to start over n raise kids on her own while facing court matters..
Agar ap 2nd grade actress se life lessons le rahe ho to apse bara koi bevkoof nai. Is actress ki baato main koi rabt flow aur quality nahi hai. Ulti seedhi opinion de rahi hai

Pakistani male dont want 30 years old women to get marry. Every man wants 18 years old.😂
Aghlab please bring someone with Experience in dating girls or dating boys, that'd be helpful. Arrange marriages is a lost cause, ain't falling for that....

Early marriages are better.
When Mevlanas talk about it openly about need for polygammy, people dont find that questionable.
They do it’s problematic here too

Talking about sex isn't bad but atleast let it be a girl's talk. Talking to a guy about sex just means Talking about food constantly and expect him not be aroused. She's right hum confused nation hain coz we want to normalise Talking about sex to a guy nd want them to behave normal
Good job
I know she has the liberty to talk all that but honestly speaking it does not sound that average Pakistani families are like that .
Where is the religion and it was not quoted?
For Gods sake do not compare western society , believe me you know nothing about it

Islam mein jaldi shadi ka hukam h aur os ki medically hi kafi reasons hein to prove that..the issue is hum log apni ulad(beta and beti)ko choti age mein Independent ni krty.like mothers ya house help hi sab kaam kr rahi hoti h.physically aur mentally sab bachy teens mein mature ho jaty hein but responsibility k leay mature ni hoty.wo sirf es waja sy k parents hi un ki responsibilities utha rahy hoty hein.aur phr ye feminist khti hein 30+ mein maturity ati h..teen age mein larka larki sab ko sab kuch pta hota h.tow kon c maturity chaey en logo ko…
where it says early marriage?
Quote that ayat and hadees.

Nonsense talk
Horrific advices. allot of what she suggested can be refuted too easily including her ridiculous ideas about understanding ones self by proxy of a damn therapist. Self discovery is supposed to be an inner challenge for you to face alone. Seeking out a therapist to offset the challenge of thinking for ones own self is like cheating on life itself.
