Cool video. Interesting to see the viewpoint of a pro racer giving a game/sim a try. Get her to the track for real. It would make a great follow-up video.
A shame he only used the budget rig, would have loved to see him try out rFactor. His complaint about not being able to feel the tyre grip in the wheel wouldn't have been a thing on the pro rigs. And the HE pedals sure would have made consistent braking a whole lot easier. Even on my lowly t300 I can feel understeer and brake lockup.

Sadly there were no english subtitles, would have loved to hear what he had to say. Please reconsider adding them for future videos, (some videos do come with subtitles, why not all the time?)
If Mr. Tsuchiya Keiichi says racing games and driving sims are a valid way to learn and improve your racing driver skills, then no one can argue with the idea anymore.

huh...i've been getting around that course at about same time in a 220hp 2012 crx hybrid in gt5...good to know i'm on par...yet i'm curious that keichii didn't heel toe at all/whilst i spam the hell out of it on this course...the amuse 86 gearbox does the rev match for the driver i assume? either that or i'm pedal happy,either way,good stuff
This was pretty interesting. But If Tsuchiya didn't get blocked by that random car AND if real cars don't have tire and brake wear... the real car would have been faster. Still, for the lap times to be so similar to the real time... the game's probably doing something right.
Don't know about the PS4 Gran Turismo, but on the older ones the "SIM" Tyres were supposed to be realistic (actually had way too little grip) while the others were pretty much easymode. Also, IRL he drove a Amuse 86, while the one in Gran Turismo was stock as seen on 5:28

ドライバーへの入力情報が少ないから、土屋氏も動画内でそれらしい事を言っているが感性主導の運転(誤魔化し)が通用しない分、むしろクセの無い操作が身に付くと思う。
自分は運転は好きですがレースゲームはGがなかったりハンドルが軽すぎたりでどうしても下手くそになっちゃいます・・・。ゲームでも最高の走りができるプロはすごいですよね
GTスポーツのカートはあまりに情報量が少なすぎて、カートの面白さが伝わらない。

He tried to drift with little angle which is his irl style too but he couldn’t
Next time you get DK a nice setup with a gated 6 speed transmission so he can do heel-toe shifting. His feet look really bored.
