chassis is too heavy for that engine, if it was in the ae86 it would be just right at 750kg

An AE86 needs more camber to stay competitive today, only way to get that with original layout is by making cuts and welds on the rear axle and rapidly cool it down, then it will strip the halfshaft splines and wear out in not too long.
It's a big issue with the AE86, rear traction while keeping live rear axle..

Yeah ! But the problem here, this NSX only used semi-slicks, while the Z4 used racing slicks. Not fair ! If the NSX was using racing slicks, it would just outrun the Z4 ! The esprit NSX is the champion in WTAC !
Djork Solo it had its chance when the z4s slicks were cold. All that horsepower and it lost to a 500hp car

レギュレーション内ののエアロとかエンジンでアンダー鈴木さんのシルビアは凄くごついしタイムアタックマシンでやっとレコードできるくらいなんだから
さすが、メーカーが本気で作ったマシン！てとこですかね。速さを純粋に求めるならD1マシンや鈴木さんのシルビアみたいにビッグパワーを追い求めるだけじゃなく、トータルバランスが大事ですから。あと多分、タイヤの影響は絶大でしょうね。

アンダー鈴木はただ単にビッグパワー追い求めてるわけじゃ無いよ。あの人はパワーもそうだけど空力に一番力入れてるからね。ウイングも3枚にしたり翼端板も変えたり。
エアロだってそう。タイヤハウス内の空気抜いてリフトアップ防ぐために試行錯誤したり毎年のように、モディファイしてるし。ちなみにこの間筑波で中古Sタイヤで50秒出したしね。

Yeah dude that's what made me get my 2016 z4 e89 but I have the 2.0 liter version with Manual gears and that's why I bought it. I get looks everywhere I go!! More than corvettes or anything!
I honestly think the Impulse Carbon 86 needs downforce with it being so light and all. It seems like its lacking in the aero department
S15 guy (at the beginning) was not happy with 800 PS and he wanted 1000 ps? or I'm I reading this wrong? SR20DET (with stroke/bore of 2.3L) and a 1000 HP/PS wow... just amazing!

The rear end of the 86 is all over the road here the car definitely needs more grip tere to be more competitive.
Drifting the car out of the corners on throttle looks super fun but the recipe for time attack is grip, grip and more grip.
The model is so cute.
All the cars were heavily modified. The 458 had very little modification in comparison. I bet it wud be the fastest here if it was equally tuned as much as the other cars here.

I have a 2016 z4 e89 2.0 liter m sport with manual gear box.. when my engine gives out in the near future, I am planning on doing this v8 or v10 swap

JUN 86 engine seems cool but it really needs shorter gearing and lighter car. It would be waaay quicker. Shifts at almost 12k rpm and drops to 7k in next gear and takes forever to rev back up.
