    So Happy my Bronco did not need this sheet metal replaced. Someone had the forethought on mine to rust proof, will only need to replace floor pans. You are the Man Jason !!
    You replaced almost the whole body Assy.

      Thanks Jim! You were lucky these Broncos are notorious for rust. Thanks for watching!

    Nice I almost forgot that I had to do that same thing to my rockers. Looking good. 66 A pillars look easier to work with than newer ones that are already assembled I had to cut mine all apart and rework the preassembled ones

      They still took a lot of work...but better than nothing.

    Awesome vid! Great work on the A pillar! I need to replace mine too! The failed water drain rusted a good part of it :(

      I bet.. It seems to be a common theme on the Broncos.

    Thanks for the info on the rockers, I have the same ones and was trying to figure out how to use them. They are way off, looks like I'd be cutting up mine as well.

      Make sure you elongate the hole on the hinge nut plate support before you install it so your hinge will have its full movement. Good Luck!

    I am at this point in my build. Did you have to trim the apron to fit into the firewall? Mines seems to be too long.

    • @JasonJonieBuilds
      @JasonJonieBuilds  ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, there weren't many parts we didn't have to trim/adjust in some way.

  • @snafubariffic
    @snafubariffic 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Have you noticed a diffence on the fit for the body parts depending on who you order them from?

    • @JasonJonieBuilds
      @JasonJonieBuilds  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. The Dennis Carpenter parts seems to fit better than the others I received.

    What size holes do you drill for your spot welds?

    • @bryschopper
      @bryschopper 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm doing the same type repairs and on mine, I drill 5/16" holes and they work well.

    • @JasonJonieBuilds
      @JasonJonieBuilds  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      5/16" holes are great when using a new panel. When you are having to attach new to old panels usually the hole will be close to 3/8"because drilling them out usually results in larger holes to get the parts to release.

    Something that I'm curious about:
    Are you planning to tear the engine down to the block and do a top bottom rebuild??

    • @JasonJonieBuilds
      @JasonJonieBuilds  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We are doing a v8 swap with AOD. This build will be a beach cruiser. We have been shooting videos on the Stage 5 2.5" lift suspension this weekend. Lots of work done. It is going to be nice. Thanks for watching.

    • @JasonJonieBuilds
      @JasonJonieBuilds  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@snafubariffic I traded it to a fellow Bronco rebuilder. He needed it for a stock restoration. I have another but shipping from Alabama to the Northwest is kind of expensive.

      @@JasonJonieBuilds I watched a truck power video and they threw a turbo on an inline six and was able to get over 500 Ft.Lb of torqe and easily over 300 HP with only 10 lb of boost. ... but if you want to give it to me to get it out of the way I'd certainly consider paying the shipping cost.
