Nice job on the battery box man! That’s a ton of work and definitely pays off at the end. Quick question. How did you secure the box to the car? I’m doing something similar to my 83 Toyota Celica Supra and debating how to secure box. The gas tank is obviously right under the hatch area so I want to avoid drilling holes. My thought is to weld the box to the floor of the hatch area using a couple brackets or something.
Never mind. I found your other video installing the battery box! Good stuff. I may try your method of dropping the gas tank and installing bolts to underneath.
Yeah that the best, especially when the box is aluminum and the body is steel. What are you doing else on your Celica?
