I was getting really anxious from 3:10 to 3:50. 😅It's safer to assemble the stand somewhere else than just above the screen!

If this monitor is anything like the X27Q flat version, you should never use the fast response mode 4! It causes a lot of image overshoot blur. You should use mode 2 for a perfect image above 120hz and mode 1 for anything under 120hz.
What if I’m running exactly 120hz on an Xbox Series S? I hear level 1
@@McGuinness89from what I've seen, right at 120hz both level 1 and level 2 perform the same, so either is fine. But if 120hz is the max you'll see while still occasionally seeing less than 120hz, I'd stick to level 1.

I have the x27q (flat version) and loving it. Bright enough yet easy on my eyes compared to other monitors.

The x27q has an IPS panel. The x27qc has a VA panel. Very different.
Just so you know mate, QHD is Quad HD, i.e 4x 720p.
Quasi-hd would mean "kinda but not really" HD haha

i own an x27c (no q) and i am very satisfied, but at higher response time settings, darker colors tend to get messed up with rapid movement
Errrr right mate yeah, you mentioned at 5:27 that you find it weird that you can adjust sound volume.
But I just saw that it has an audio jack out....So I'm assuming it's for headphones or speakers which you choose to plug in to the monitor.

Nice monitor dude but I'd use Level 2 or 3 if I was you, Level 4 will give you blur. All gaming monitors are like this, the maximum is just so they can put on the 1ms on the box.

@@igfury4119 On the monitor there is a menu built in so you can set the Response Time. You can set it to Level 1, 2, 3 etc. Every monitor has a sweet spot for less blurring.
I’ve recently bought this monitor, along with a ps5. I play apex legends and can’t get 120 fps for some reason. Might be me being stupid but is there anything you can suggest? I’ve turned on all settings on the ps5 to allow it too

I have both monitors X27Q and X27QC and if you can get the X27Q version, specially for gaming, it is a lot better.
The ghosting is terrible on the QC, because of the VA panel, like it is night and day.
I don't get why it is in the same series and priced like it.

They should send hdmi cable seeing as it has hdmi 2 and only dp 1.2. If it had dp 1.4 I’d understand
1) sound is low
2) if the internet was slow, why not re-record and upload again when its working ok

edit - bought one and its a great monitor, best i have owned so far. my first VA from IPS. I can confidently say this is fast and the contrast ratio is soooo satisfying

Just got this for my ps5 it works great putting out 1440 at 120hz for games that support it
I only get 1440p at 60hz. How you get 120hz?
I used the hdmi cable from ps5 clicked on 1440 in settings and I also put the ps5 in performance mode instead of resolution mode and it worked

About to purchase 1 of these, how is the ghosting, does it run at 1440p 120fps as i know some monitors that claim to do this, actually dont due to vesa timings, its for my series x and an upgrade from my 1080p 75hz
In regards to ghosting you want to be in speed level 1 or 2
Level 3 and 4 are better quality but the ghosting is severe

Ps5 doesn’t support 1440p natively. It’s either 4k or 1080p.

Just got this monitor but it seems to black screen randomly for about 1-3 seconds ? Any idea what it is other than the hdmi cable or will it be that as the issue?
Sounds like a cable issue, but it's a matter of eliminating common issues. Firstly try a different HDMI cable or try a DisplayPort cable instead.

@@jackbudworth4130 Glad you got it sort, but if your PC graphics output has a displayport, then I'd highly recommend using a displayport cable which is much better and can handle higher bandwidth than HDMI.

Maybe a bit late reply, but the QC (C - Curved) version uses a VA panel. X27Q is IPS.

@@robtechhelp4323 currently only played vanguard and deathloop @ 120fps tried a few different settings but not really been able to reduce it. Any tips on minimising the problem?
@@markswallow2517 yhhh u should be able to reduce the speed level, it may be that you are on level 2,3 or 4 speed. Change it to level 1 and that hopefully should help. It’s in the display setting of the monitor. In the review I should myself changing the speed. Have a go and let me know.
@@robtechhelp4323 changed response time to level 1 and it has helped a lot if I’m honest has definitely reduced the ghosting 👍🏻 I can tell the response time has changed slightly but so worth it to remove almost all the ghosting. Will you be doing a follow up review will be interesting to know your thoughts now you have used it more.

yes it can do both 1080p and 1440p at 120hz but 4k will be 60hz still great tho

@@deinvater2475 honestly I have the flat screen not the curved screen one, now the flickering could be a faulty monitor screen so i suggest returning it for a new one or buy the Flat screen one, they both have the same exact specs just ones curved other isnt.

Hdmi 2.1 is only needed for 4k120hz this monitor is maxed native 1440p so 2.0 is fine, plus you can do 1440p 120hz
@@aintezy The reason I ask is because i have a ps5 and be connecting it to the monitor. I think for me to get the full affect on the ps5 i need a 2.1 hdmi port. I can be 100% wrong

@@robtechhelp4323 how's the ghosting on that panel? oh have you tried the Custom RGB mode. it gives you better contrast and peak brightness upto 600cd/m - why didn't hey make it hdr? this monitor is £199 at costco on monday, is it worth it? - im worried about the ghosting.
@@kaisersolo76 hi, I think your concerns are legit, I have noticed some ghosting when I played something like Fifa and I wasn’t too happy about that, but I didn’t notice it on Cod so I think it depends on the game, other than that the monitor it self is pretty good. What I would say is for 199, you can look at buying a monitor that has mic inbuilt aswell but you may have to compromise on the picture quality or response rate
