A former Marine in Nashville says the tragedy in Newtown, Conn., moved him to stand guard outside his children's elementary school. WTVF-TV's Mark Bellinger reports.
How? What is he actually doing to help anyone? I just don't see what he is doing as beneficial to anyone except maybe to his own ego. Will he still be there in a month? in 6 months? in a year? I doubt it.
It's just a symbol. Like he said he is doing it because the world needs hope. It's not like he's doing it because he's ready to jack someone up if they come at the school, I mean, he probably would try, and do his best, but he's doing it as a symbol of hope, to bring peace to people's minds, that there's still good people out there. People that protect.
Wow. Somebody who knows how to handle dangerous situations on guard. What a novel idea! Especially since we don't want to confront mental health issues or the fact the drug companies are legally making drugs that obviously should be reassessed. I'm glad somebody is using common sense to think of our childrens well being. Bravo to a good man.
Stfu about the "no gun" comments...were trying to end violence not prolong it. Idk who would dislike this fucking video. He's doing something for the love and safety of people. I wanna see you stand infront of a school for hours because "you care" god bless this guy. We need more like him.
I agree, use the program like a tax deduction, figure out some type of hourly rate that is not actually paid in money, but documented as a tax deduction. When the chips are down US Marines stand up and stand to. We know our duty is to protect, and when we pass on we believe that we will guard the streets of Heaven. God bless the United States Marine Corps.
When were "ex-marines" created? (never) SEMPER FI my grandfather was a marine and got 2 purple hearts and died after hurricane harvie and i will honor him by becoming a marine! wish me luck!
So he stands there for a few days and gets a news article. Unarmed too?! Lmao What you people all are neglecting to recognize is he probably has no job now and had time to do this rather then make income. I’m not impressed
Etelani ur rite,,,believing he needz attention gona git him killt if sumone pulls out a gun on him,,,diz soldier or person i believe hez not reel,,just wantz attention UR RITE,!!!!!
It's commendable what he's doing, but he needs to either reenlist, or lose the uniform. Once you've been discharged there are specific things you may wear the uniform for, such as Veterans Parades, Funerals of Veterans, etc... Just dusting off a uniform and going down to the local school to get some attention isn't one of them. Think about this, he is being given the respect and admiration as a Marine, and while in uniform is a represents the Marine Corps. Is that actually what he is NOW?
Is that a threat? You claim to be a patriot, but when somebody exercises their 1st amendment rights you threaten them with violence. How Christian of you. Merry Fucking Xmas!
