Mine is to the floor and I barely water it but whenever I remember to I give it a good drink with fertilizer it flowers every spring . Also make sure you have a good potting mix . My plant is 5yrs almost 6yrs they are slow growers
@@courtneysimmons4977 sounds somso beautiful.....mine has taken a besting from mealy hiding in the folds.....I put it outside every summer and the bugs eat the mealy clear but they find it sgain when I bring it in....I am going to order beneficial bugs this year to help rid the mealys indoors! So happy for you that yours goes all the way to the floor! Amazing!
My hindu came with mealybugs!!!! I CAN NOT seem to get rid of them! I spend every day inspecting the plant and find more every day. I rarely find a nest but killed at least 6 babies today. And when I say babies that's only when they're big enough to develope the white wax on them. Please help! ANYBODY!!!!
Spray with rubbing alcohol. Not just plant but soil as well. Remember they aren't going to disappear quickly. It's going to get few treatments. Good luck 👍
@@LaurylSydney systemic granules you put in your soil to kill mealies and other bugs. Some people us a liquid. Jim at Vermont Hoyas shows the one he uses. I think it’s under his pest management tab.
