I have an Hoya Compacta. It hasn't started to trail, yet. I believe that I ordered mine from Bloomscape. It came with three different types of Hoyas.

It's worth the wait for this one to trail!!

Here I am a year later...great video so much information thank you! I was just gifted a Hoya compacta and I adore and love her...wish me luck! She has damp soil still, I got her from a plant store (not big box) 5 days ago. I'm used to cacti and succulents so a little different. Should I be concerned it's still damp?

Nope, it's likely it was just watered! If it's from a nursery, they probably have it in good soil. I'd monitor it in its new conditions and adjust as necessary

@@ByBrittanyG why thank you so much! She seems to be a little unhappy as of late, some very wrinkly leaves. I am considering in a bit to pop her out of her pot and transistion her to pon. We shall see though, I'm a little nervous as I hear Hoya can throw fits and I don't want to cause her any issues!

I bought a tiny 2 in one, and day by day they get more mushy and yellow. 80% of the leaves are gone and it's only a matter of time till it's dead. And I do not get it, I watered it once in a month, and yet it seems overwatered

I'm sorry! :( It's possible you underwatered it if you only watered it once a month. Is it wrinkly and yellowing? Probably underwatering then. If not, maybe the soil is too dense? Do you have it in the mix it came in?
