These were terrific! I made the second one and gave it to my daughter, who loved it so much that she took a photo and showed it to all her friends. (She's 14, so that's saying a lot.) I've now made 20 more so she can hang them on her ceiling (as per her request). They are so quick and easy to make, and it's really satisfying to see them pile up. Thank you for the video!
Thanks 👍 I'm putting a small tree in my sewing room this year so this will look nice for the tree . Something that will not take much time . Love your channel.
Thank you so much with all of the other tutorials they were realy quick and what u love about yours is you also add the writing up the top fir death people . Definitely watching u again 😊
Thank for this video I do a different tree ornament each year for the last 5 and I love the simple ones like this rounded star. I have made 4 and they are so quick to make and use up my smaller balls of yarn.
I modified the pattern a little on the flatter less grandma-ey one and made a weed leaf. Yeet. I also made a couple from the original pattern you provided. Absolutely lovely little stars. Now if I could make some flowers. I'm sure it is another simple modification.
Love your channel, Erica! 💕 I just subscribed, and thank you for lovely crocheted stars. Your teaching was so clear that I easily made my first two stars for the Christmas tree! Look forward to working your other crochet projects. 🌲 Many blessings!
Thank you Erica for this adorable star pattern. This will be going on my tree and as gifts on packages along with your crochet hat and stocking pattern! I love everything that you do and thank you so much!
Erica these are darling, I just followed along and made them both. I love these adorable quick projects. Thank you so much!! Can't wait to see what you do next. Hugs!😊
I love these, Erica! They are so cute and perfect for a tree, a small gift, or to put on a package. I’m planning to crochet several. Thank you for this fun tutorial!
Another GREAT project! Already made one of each for my Erica Tree! Love your quick and easy projects! Keep them coming. Any chance you have a gingerbread man pattern? My daughter has requested I make her some. 😂
this is such an easy pattern, the only this is is that you go a bit to fast even if I slow it down, I've only started 4 days ago and its a bit to fast!
I do both patterns starting with a magic ring. Then finish with slip stitching all the way around. I think it gives them a more finished look. Love both patterns 🎄🎄💙💙
Thank you so much ❤ they are so cute I’m definitely going to make these little stars ⭐️ I’m new to crochet but your video was so clear and easy to follow and just at the right pace for a beginner
Does anyone know why I'm getting a wreath shape instead of a cluster? There's a giant hole and I'm essentially crocheting a wreath 😭 this is my first project because I couldn't figure out how to turn around while making a square 😅
Mine are going on the molded trees from Dollar Tree this year. Wee Kids will put stickers all over the tree…any kind of stickers. I see many laughs and smiles from them.
Erica, Im trying to learn to crochet from you. The thing is I don’t understand the letters you use for the stitches, do you have a chart where the whole word is written? Ex, DCR = Double Crochet. Or something similar…
Hi, yes they are just United States Terms, here's a website with abbreviations, and I also include the definitions in all of my patterns as well: easycrochet.com/crochet-abbreviations-for-beginners/
Make sure you're using the same tension when doing the outer portions, you may be crocheting loser in the center? Also block your finished stars that should help even things out as well.

Just putting this here to see where these start.

Did the first one but my centre looks bigger and the pointy sides smaller. I feel like l’ve followed instructions to the letter though 😢 any tips?
