I realize this is an old video but I don’t think Shimano wheels change between 2022 and 2023? Those calliper measurements suggest that Shimano website data is not accurate, is that possible. I am talking about rim internal and external width? I am shopping for wheels and kinda landed on ultegra as goos price, good weight, reliable… a great compromise of all things
The bearings are call Cup & Cone and used by Campag as well. It spins better than a sealed cartridge bearing and supposedly more stable when lateral force is applied, ie, around a turn. In terms of service, it fairly easy and straight forward and the hardest part is to adjust the tension, which is not very hard. Sealed cartridge bearings mostly are easier to service but quality of bearings vary greatly and if a bearing is stuck, it can be very difficult to remove if you don't have the proper tools.
I just got my Pinarello Prince with the 2022 Dura Ace C60 wheelset. Awesome wheels.
I am trying to find these (or the Ultegra 60s) in the US.... Any way to help look in your guys systems or any advice on how I could find a dealer with some? For this price range are they a strong recommend? I am not a racer, have a Allez Sprint frame with mostly all Ultegra parts and some Aerofly specialized bars. Never had a carbon bike or wheels, but honestly love this aluminum aero bike and figure it deserves to be built up with even level parts for it. Many thanks!

Does this mean that I can take my current freehub body off my Shimano C40 9100 rear wheel and move it over to the Shimano new Dura ace 9270?
Hello!! I’m not sure if you mentioned it but my english is not that good, pardon me, my question is, can I use regular tubes with this type of wheels? (I’m planning on buying the Shimano Ultegra c50 for my Tarmac SL6.) Thank you in advance 🙏🏼
The rims have a hook. You’ll be fine to run with tubes

For this particular wheelset, have you guys noticed an unusual grinding sound in the rear hub while the wheel is rotating? Or does mine require a checkup?!

Yes I would have them serviced, they shouldn't grind. They probably need some fresh grease in the rear hub or freehub.

Not a very good review. You basically only re-read the marketing material and didn’t give us any information that we couldn’t find out ourselves. Good reviewer are able to use the product and give their input and opinions about the product after specifically using it and also comparing it against comparable products in a comparable price range so that viewers can get a good perspective of your review.
