    It really was that easy. Thank you for a great product and this easy to follow installation video!

    A heavyweight version in steel or brass would be nice.

    Mine in black did not slide on easy. Not sure what was going on...felt like I was going to totally mar the bottom of the gun trying.

      Same. Just installed it and it took gouges out of the plastic around the little guide rails that the grooves are supposed to slide over. Still needed to use a rubber mallet to tap into place. Seemed like the grooves were either milled too narrow for the fins on the grip or the entire magwell inside diameter is like a mm too narrow. Looks great once it's on, and don't plan on ever taking it off so gouges will be hidden forever.

      Some might be a tighter fit than others. There is meant to be some resistance when installing our magwell onto your Prodigy. Due to manufacturing tolerances, there is a chance that it might be tighter than what it appears in the video. If you have issues, you can always give us a call and we would be happy to help you out.

    Nice got this and scratched the hell out of my grip and left big big gouges in my new prodigy 😭😭

      Unfortunately, when you have something like a grip that is made of plastic, the manufacturing tolerance from grip to grip is very high so some people may have difficulty installing a magwell.

    Mine is extremely tight, I mean, tight to the point where the sharp metal of the mag well digs and cut the polymer on the frame. Solution???

    • @EGWInc
      @EGWInc  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There really is not solution for this. The tolerances for a plastic grip are far to large to account for every individual gun. Some people have an easier time installing these than other people unfortunately. If you are not satisfied with our magwell, we are always happy to take it back and issue a complete refund. If you have any further issues, please contact devin@egwguns.com. Thanks!

    One question: can you or someone narrow this magwell’s width?
    EGW is the only company thus far to make a dedicated / slip-on, no mod required magwell for the Prodigy. That’s great but the problem is they don’t make a slimmer “carry” version. Basically, one that is IDPA legal at 1 and 5/8 inches wide, or 1.625 inches.
    This EGW is 1.739 inches.
    So the delta is .114 inches. Doable?
    Someone on Reddit said they did their own, but I don’t have that skill set.
    Any advice?

    The magwell I bought fits so tight I can’t force it on. I’m afraid im gonna damage the grip plastic.

      @@EGWInc After seeing your comments and your videos I said, "No way these studs are EGW go it wrong!" I went back and looked at it again and I was wrong!!! I'm an idiot! It fits so precisely I thought it didn't! Scuffed the polymer but that's how we learn. I will call you cause I have some questions about other Prodigy stuff. GREAT MAGWELL!!!
