You've pretty much talked me out of buying it. I own only one Masterpiece: Spinout, which is awesome and has engineering complex enough to justify the price, even if there's almost no die-cast. Diaburnout looks nice in both modes, and I like Diaclone, but the engineering doesn't seem to warrant the price, which is at least £90 (roughly $115) here in the UK. The weapons would have been better in chrome, I think, against the black arms. Thinking back to how much Alternators and Binaltech sold for when they came out, it feels to me like we were getting a lot more for the money back then, and I haven't seen many MPs that seem to be worth the cash. (Having said this, Hasbro and Takara were using even cheaper child labour in China during the Alternators/Binaltech period.)
@@carnmarth334 The spinout/sunstreaker mold is one of my favorite molds period. It came out during a time where took her to me wasn't trying to rake us over the coals for cash. The price of the skids molds is significantly cheaper than what they try to charge for car bots in the US but the quality is significantly less as I explained in this video. It's pretty much almost a regular figure. It has all the basic articulation and even has features you can do in the vehicle mode that makes it cool. But yeah I can't blame you. I wouldn't want that to be my second masterpiece.
@@TMan978 Thanks for this. To be honest, I can't think of anything to buy as a second Masterpiece. None of the others seem to measure up to Sunstreaker/Cordon/Spinout engineering. I paid £80 (about $102) for Spinout, and that was sale price. Would have liked to get Delta Magnus, but that's unavailable in the UK and costs about £180 ($230) on import. The forthcoming Diaclone homage MP DK-2 Guard costs £115ish ($147), for a repaint of the MP Ironhide. It doesn't look all that special to me.
@carnmarth334 if you only like Diaclone, it is definitely nothing much out there. When it comes to complexity and good articulation it's the sunstreaker mold, mp36 Megatron, MP44 Optimus, MP Hound +But it's universally known that hound has not so great plastic. But he is crazy possible if you don't break em 😬) MP trailbreaker and hoist. I like Arcee.
@@TMan978 Thanks. MP Trailbreaker looks a bit odd in bot mode, as though he's been stretched. GhostPrime did a review that seems about right. Hoist seems better proportions. For non-Masterpiece Diaclone, I heard that SS86 Ultra Magnus is going to be repainted as Delta Magnus, but I don't know when.
Greatest intro ever.
Really? Lemme see.
I'm cracking up...🤣💀
Takara did pretty well on these.. Great 🧊Chill🧊 Review ✨️😎
Did they? I do a lot of complaining here.
Excellent review for what's unfortunately a meh bot.
Yeah. Thanks for watching
The model of moped is the Honda Motocompo
Cool
Tman! What is your opinion of the Three Zero MDLX line? Specifically Megatron
I wish they weren't so stylized but Megatron look All right. Especially the G2 one
Yeah I am tempted but I don't trust any reviews beside from people who actually collect transformers lol
@s3d17 I have a review for Bumblebee and Optimus if you want to see my opinion directly
@@TMan978oh thanks I must have mis those when I was gone for 1.5 years
