Good thing I still have my physical copy of the game, I remember playing it a lot back then and realize how much of a hidden gem this game was but am glad to see others also enjoyed it.
Man, this game is so good. And so brutal to people who start playing it. I remember myself struggling so hard on the Devastator fight. Starting on Commander may have been a mistake, though, Kev. The game doesn't tell you about Vehicle Attacks at all in that difficulty.
This game was awesome it was basically just a g1 episode on steroids, also pretty cool since they got all the og G1 VAs for the Autobots (besides Wheeljack) and Megatron/Soundwave back, and it sucks that it didn’t get much attention and it’ll never get the sequel it deserves, but still it’s a banger game with a lot of replay value
I didn't realize that gun play was so important to the score. The fact that I had limited ammo made me never use the guns. Then I started checking out Transformers and found out that gun fights were literally the order of the day with the older shows and so it made perfect sense to have interplay with them.
The thing is we never got a second game is a lot like America rising as we never got a second game to that either. I also love how we get the original voice actor for most of the characters in this game as well.

This is the of those games that trains you to make you feel like a pro the more you play. Im still mad that my disc reader for my xbox broke so I can't play this anymore
Bought it in. The PlayStation store for a few bucks long ago, good game. The game is all about grinding weapons and upgrading them, you can't play straight hard mode, which is actually unlocked after finishing the game. I also bought nemesis prime skin, as I prefer playing as a decepticon
This game is obscenely fun. Wheeljack is my favorite because he’s so squishy, but his ranged attack is absolutely insane to compensate. With him, it’s just me and my two HP against the world, but I got the cybertronian equivalent of a sawed off shotgun, so it’s all cool
Has it been 10 years already since this game came out? It seems like I just played this yesterday. It’s _that_ timeless. Man, I feel old. But thank you for reigniting my nostalgia for this awesome game.
This game made Bumblebee a legit bad ass. I loved his gameplay through the entire game. For those who were able to witness this masterpiece, they know the majesty that was Devastation. Hasbro truly does hate printing money.
Just picked this up on recommendation at my local play and trade store. They spoke highly of it ! Huge transformers fan so I’m pretty excited to pop it in today
Loved this game, was soo refreshing to see the real bumblebee by this time frame. They put a lot of attention to detail, like all the weapons in the games were actually from both toys and animation, the characters like how thundercracker is actually a level headed decepticon. The only thing that disappointed me was that there wasnt more of it. I wouldve like to see more characters even if they weren't playable, and the stages, really wish there was more than the maze like city
Unfortunately, they had to scale down halfway through, while they already had a bigger game in-mind, that's why half the worldmap is just the city, and cybertron is literally a bunch of corridors; the biggest casuality tho, were the stunticons; even if they would not have done much, platinum just did not want to have reskinned ground soldier that didn't act like the bots, and that's why they exist only as veicles (and limbs)
Still got my copy! Love this game! I thought it needed a bit more fine tuning, maybe more variety, but the foundation is so solid. So glad I picked it up years back!

Funny thing i discovered while fighting the constructicons, you can actually insta-kill them if you dodge in time and immediately headshot them with a sniper-rifle.
Hopefully your playthrough of it will continue
im not even exaggerating when i say Devastation is one of my absolute favorite games ever made. my dad got it on the xbox 360 for me wayyyy back in the day and i think since then, ive beaten thr game almost 10 times. recently i decided to try beating it on the hardest difficulty, i only got past rhe part after the Insecticons and i haven't played in a while. im absolutley terrified og the Menasor fight lmao
We have this on disc actually :)
Good thing I still have my physical copy of the game, I remember playing it a lot back then and realize how much of a hidden gem this game was but am glad to see others also enjoyed it.
This has far more in common with Bayonetta than it does with Revengeance
Moves bayo, music mgr.
Focus mechanic and weapons like Bayonetta. With the enemies, bosses and music like mgrr (and also never got a sequel sadly)
Man, this game is so good. And so brutal to people who start playing it. I remember myself struggling so hard on the Devastator fight.
Starting on Commander may have been a mistake, though, Kev. The game doesn't tell you about Vehicle Attacks at all in that difficulty.
0:15 Yeah all of the games you mentioned were terrible. Lego Dimensions on the other hand… now that one’s a masterpiece.
Finally, a person of true fine culture
Are you serious??
This game was awesome it was basically just a g1 episode on steroids, also pretty cool since they got all the og G1 VAs for the Autobots (besides Wheeljack) and Megatron/Soundwave back, and it sucks that it didn’t get much attention and it’ll never get the sequel it deserves, but still it’s a banger game with a lot of replay value
I will love to see another video of this game
The main menu theme that plays when you start up the game ALONE is ENOUGH to get invested into this game🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
My boys play this game weekly!
Bro, you were juggling this man like it was Tekken. Most beautiful thing I've ever seen
TFD was my childhood bru
The music in this game has no right hitting so hard every time it comes out, especially the special tracks for the boss fights
4:47 how do i get energy tho i am a car now
I didn't realize that gun play was so important to the score. The fact that I had limited ammo made me never use the guns. Then I started checking out Transformers and found out that gun fights were literally the order of the day with the older shows and so it made perfect sense to have interplay with them.
Finish metal Gear rising 🔥
The thing is we never got a second game is a lot like America rising as we never got a second game to that either. I also love how we get the original voice actor for most of the characters in this game as well.
This was my favorite game for a little while. It was perfect. Maybe I'll go play it again this evening.
Love to see one of my favorite TH-camrs playing one of my favorite games of all time! This is the best lunch break I’ve ever had
The player: *Bullies Megatron with Combo Strings & blasters*
Megatron: *Tanks your attacks & STARTS FIGHTING BACK*
The Player: *PANICS as you start button mashing, but u can't because it's Megatron*
1:02 I remember before COVID hit, the game stores I went to has this game for each available platform. PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and 360. Sadly, the next time I returned after the lockdowns (and I am already earning a decent amount of income) all of those vanished. I REALLY wanted that Platinum trophy...
I also bought nemesis prime skin, as I prefer playing as a decepticon
the music slaps in that game so hard you can disassociate yourself
This game is obscenely fun. Wheeljack is my favorite because he’s so squishy, but his ranged attack is absolutely insane to compensate. With him, it’s just me and my two HP against the world, but I got the cybertronian equivalent of a sawed off shotgun, so it’s all cool
Has it been 10 years already since this game came out? It seems like I just played this yesterday. It’s _that_ timeless.
Man, I feel old. But thank you for reigniting my nostalgia for this awesome game.
I still play this game. It's very awesome. And as another comment mentioned, the ONLY downside is the enormous cliffhanger.
This game made Bumblebee a legit bad ass. I loved his gameplay through the entire game. For those who were able to witness this masterpiece, they know the majesty that was Devastation. Hasbro truly does hate printing money.
The combat is what I imagined as a child when my little brother and I played with action figures together.
Just picked this up on recommendation at my local play and trade store. They spoke highly of it ! Huge transformers fan so I’m pretty excited to pop it in today
YESSS!!! YESSS!!! F**KING FINALLY!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG FOR YOU TO PLAY THIS MASTER PIECE!!!
WE NEED ALL THE TRANSFORMERS GAMES BACK.
Unfortunately, they had to scale down halfway through, while they already had a bigger game in-mind, that's why half the worldmap is just the city, and cybertron is literally a bunch of corridors; the biggest casuality tho, were the stunticons; even if they would not have done much, platinum just did not want to have reskinned ground soldier that didn't act like the bots, and that's why they exist only as veicles (and limbs)
i got this game like 5 years ago and watching you play this makes me want to beat the game with every character on the hardest difficulty just because
Fun fact, the composer of this game also did the music for Angry Birds Transformers
Still got my copy! Love this game!
I thought it needed a bit more fine tuning, maybe more variety, but the foundation is so solid.
So glad I picked it up years back!
I hardly got to play a lot of games on the box as kid but It was a blessing to get the chance to play this game over and over
i have the ps4 physical version of the game and i am proud of it i beat the game more that 7 times
Ive had the physical disk of this for forever i had no idea it was abandonware now
