- An FJ45 LV "restoration" sends Jeremiah over the edge with more than a few stop-its. Shop content, plus an old face from the Land Cruiser community drops off an FJ45 pickup that we just bought for a special client.
Was that Land Cruiser from the FJ Company you are fixing for a customer???
I won’t say who’s it is, but It’s not an FJCO build.
Love you guys! Keep em coming!
Very interested in this power lock kit. Which one did you use?
It’s from www.a1electric.com
Item # W02TW-alarm
In the past I thought about a Sniper kit for my 60 but having recently rebuilt the carburetor it runs really well. Besides, anymore it gets used for tooling around Colorado back roads and the carburetor works just fine. It's shocking how a shop can put down a nice paint job with not just holes, but a screwed on "cover" or whatever it is, WOW! I admit that I do watch You Tube videos of car repairs and restorations and the number of hack jobs is crazy. What's worse, is the number of people that think they are doing a great job. Thank you for producing what is actually quality restorations.
You’re correct about stainless bolts, ask me how I know. Great episode thanks.
Did y’all notch the front shock tower to get the steering shaft past?
I have the Holley Sniper and Hyperspark on my Mosley rebuilt 2F. It works really well. I have the screen on the left edge attached to my roll cage.
It's good to hear you are having success!
Excellent infotainment as usual! What do you recommend in place of the stainless steel?
Zic or Cad plated bolts. We refinish and zinc all of our OEM Toyota fasteners in clear (silver), gold, or black zinc.
at least use corrosion inhibitor grease with stainless steel screws into carbon steel
Yes, anti-seize is a good one for that. We call anti-seize the herpes of the automotive industry, however. Once it’s around, it spreads everywhere and you can’t get rid of it.😂
link to kits on fj60?
👍😁
Hi I was wondering if you would sell me some parts for a fj40
