For over 25 years, Dwight Bashir worked on international human rights and conflict prevention for the U.S. government, the United Nations, and various non-governmental organizations. He served until 2022 with the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), a federal body that advises the President of the United States, the Secretary of State, and U.S. Congress. In this capacity, he led numerous fact-findings missions globally, authored dozens of reports, launched and hosted the Commission’s podcast, USCIRF Spotlight, and helped shape U.S. policy to protect freedom of religion and belief worldwide. His commentary and analysis have been featured in national and international media, academic journals, and online blogs, and he has been a frequent lecturer and presenter at universities and institutions globally on topics including U.S. foreign policy, countering extremism, and religious and ethnic violence. Early in his career, he served for four years as the first-ever human rights officer with the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of the United States. He is currently serving a two-year term on the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Committee on Holocaust Denial and State-Sponsored Antisemitism and works as an independent consultant and investor in the Washington, DC area.

I usually promote one world unity on social media. Sometime I mention the faith, but not always. It depends on the conversation. The idea that "Earth is one country" attracts a lot of interest.

Shouldn't we look at parties in relationship to our core principles w/o providing financial assistance, or promotion via campaigning for a specific party?? In this way, increased Bahai ideas result in support of a candidate whose platform reflects the Baha'i Faith...would this not evolve into a Bahai New World Order?? How does the Bahai Faith propose to establish a New World Order w/o taking over the government of all countries?? The later I don't understand...
