    Being a wide foot myself, I appreciate this video. From all my tries so far - I have settled with ASICS Gel Kayano’s - the absolute best for wide foots, flat foots, over pronation etc. the shoe is built like a beast that stays durable for years. The only downside is that it’s very costly shoe. But totally worth the price you pay. Happy if you could check them out and share the video.
    I own the ASICS Gel Kayano 25s & 26s in standard edition.

    I think the New Balance Rebel V2 is great if youre running in them. The fuelcell foam is ridiculously good. Having said that, I wouldn't recommend for slow jogging or walking- especially if youre wide feet or tend to pronate -- It'll be very unstable. Hes I see your feet rolling every so slightly on that test shot.

    I used to have Geox shoes, but it's hard to find Geox sneakers now. I haven't worn Nike's because nothing available for wide feet in-person in stores. I've only worn New Balance sneakers. I've heard good things about Altra, Brooks Caldera, Salomon, Saucony, and Asics Novablasts, but it all depends on the type and thickness of the shoe. Try the shoes first. I would like to try wide sizes for Hoka, but never found any wide sizes in the stores I've visited.

    I work 8-9 hours a night walking on concrete 40-50 hours hours a week and have tried half of these shoes. That being said I am a big guy and wear a 13 wide. best pair from this list for me and what I am currently wearing is the number 10 spot, the zx22. after about 2 weeks of wearing the jet boost broke in a little and now its even squishier. one of the only shoes from this list I can wear and not have foot fatigue after a work shift. now when I was half the weight I am now the ultraboost was my favorite and go to, but nowadays I can wear out a pair of ultraboost in about 6 months so its not worth the premium to me.

    I’ve always struggled to buy wide fitting shoes so I tried the the ozweego and ozialias and the ozelle cloud foams and ended with the 3rd choice. The 3 fit pretty similar to me. I’ve accepted that I just won’t be able to find something that is adapted to my feet so the cloud foam should be ok. Need them for running, walking, casual. Not good for when it’s really hot though.

    The widest shoes that I've worn are the New Balance 1340s and 1540s. These come in Extra-Extra-Wide or 6E. They have a high and wide toebox and a high mid-foot. I bought these when I had severe blister and bunion problems when I was walking 100 miles per week. They are stability shoes, though. I use them for spinning. I have a few pairs of their cross-trainer model that comes in 6E as well (don't have the model number handy) and use these for tennis. I am currently running in the NB 1080v10 and it is tight in the mid-foot. I often have red marks on the top of the mid-foot after a run. I often have to loosen the laces before each run. I have the Fresh Foam More v2 for recovery runs and those have more space in the toebox and mid-foot compared to the 1080v10. I also have the 1080v12 and Fresh Foam More v3 though I haven't taken them out for a run. The 1080v12 is more generous in the mid-foot and toebox than the 1080v10. The 1080v12 4E almost feels like a 5E or 6E. The More v3 is also generous in the toebox and mid-foot. The 990 series is a great shoe thought they are on the heavy side. I bought one for half-price many years ago and gave it to my son and he loves them. They do look great and are firmer though still well-cushioned. I understand that a lot of people wear them for the fashion aspect and don't run in them. They are also made in the US (for US customers).

    A shoe that absolutely SUCKS for wide feet : New Balance 574. I bought it for its basic look. It's the least comfortable sneaker I've ever worn. The outer sole/base is narrow as hell, even with a wide sneaker side. It's like they attached a big upper to their general narrow base. The 990 is brilliant. The Monarch is a constant for me. I'm picking up the Nimbus soon.

    New Balance 880 V12 is the comfiest for me so far this year, also the saucony triumph 18 or 19 coming in 2nd place. I like firm but also squishy and these two shoes seem to perfect that feeling.

  • @Punksarepunk
    @Punksarepunk 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    A good cheap option is the Adidas Racer TR21. It comes in a wide option and they tend to be very affordable. It's one of the comfiest shoes I've ever owned which was surprising to me considering how little I spent on it. It's not super squishy but it's firm enough that I feel stable walking and it's soft enough that my feet rarely get tired after long wear. Would def recommend

      Thanks for the reply, do the 1080 cushioning sink in too much like boost? Or is it more firmer? Thanks

    • @mpachmayer
      @mpachmayer 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lukyangho I think there is probably some sink to it, but I didn't really feel like my foot was pushing to far down. I tend to like the shoes that will squish a little more each step. I have the fuel cell pair that was number 9 in this countdown and I have a pair of the Nike Invincible or Infinity that is mentioned high in this countdown. I think both of those shoes tend squish down more than the 1080s. If you have a Dick's Sporting Goods near you, they probably have the 1080v11 or v12 in stock (probably not wide, but the non wide version isn't too narrow) where you can check to see how the cushion feels.

    Idk bout yall but soft cushion [insole] depends on if you have plantar fasciitis and wide feet. Yeezy 350s and 380s boost feels like it expands too much so the softness is not firm enough for fallen arches. Plantar fasciitis acts up for me when i rock em all day. For me, yeezy 700s encapsulate the boost perfectly. Sucks getting old 😅 New Balance 99Xs and Hokas feel just right. Anyone experience this problem?

      you are right. I wear the zoomx invincible fk2 and they are definitly not wide. I tried them for 30min and they very narrow. I send them back. The Allbirds wool pipers/ tree dashers are perfect, the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 are wide too.

      iam tested now the Nike ZoomX Invincible Run FK2 and they are too small and narrow. The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 are perfect but the Toung Stitches too thick. The Allbirds Wool Pipers are perfect. The Allbirds Tree Dashers fits perfect but the Tounge is little bit to tight. The Allbirds Tree Runners are wide but too flat. I buyed the Hooks Clifton 8 wide.
