Mine was doing the same thing. To the left of the main harness there is a gray connector with 6 wires or so going to it. This is where the wire from the hi/lo switches junction before going to the main harness. The 495 A is the ground wire. Mine was broken off the pin inside the connector. I fixed it, and it works great. If you don't have a fault in the 495 A, it turns into the 570 wire in the main harness that feeds the ecm a ground on that relay. Just check continuity from there back. Hope this helps. If you have any questions, let me know.
So you direct powered the clutch with a switch? Use a line tracer you follow the line from the compressor to the cab. Turn end to end test for continuity.
