Great video, 100% agree that there are no easy to understand videos.
Many people might think they need wire cutters. Back years ago when I was doing my apprenticeship we used a knife instead of cutters, no need to have any fancy equipment but 100% agree any younger viewers need adult supervison and any adults might need a plaster!
I would maybe put crimp terminals on the end to the power supply just to ensure a strong connection.

Pete, in Aus we use a female plug on our controller and a male plug on our track. This prevents kids from plugging the controller into a live wall socket...
