Question: I’m a triathlete who uses 1 pair of shoes for all his running (training and racing). Currently that shoe is a pair of Hoka Arahi 6’s and I absolutely love them. The stability and protection for running on tired legs after the bike is great. Since I’m going for longer distance events I was thinking to go the carbon route and add an extra pair to the mix. Which shoes would work?
I have alphafly 3 and sky Paris, I definitely prefer and enjoy the sky Paris and the best part is it's 5mm drop and much lighter weight compared to 8mm drop of alphafly 3
Sorry if I'm too late but just wanted to let you know that I wouldn't recommend the Asics metaspeed sky, I've been wearing it for 6 months now and I've noticed that my feet go very inwards when wearing them, its got quite a narrow midfoot area which isn't geart for stability. That's just my experience though, other than that its a very fast shoe
We should be receiving more Alphafly 3 in early April. We are unable to confirm inventory but we will be getting more than the original Proto launch. -Connor
I have NB SC and alpha fly 3. I definitely prefer the New Balance over the Alpha Fly 3. Could be my specific foot (high arch) or stride but every time I’ve ran in my alpha fly’s I end up with Plantar Fascia pain. So much so that after I did a 10k at fast pace I had to take a couple weeks off training.
Can anyone suggest a full marathon or ultra-marathon for me? I am an average-speed runner. Last time, I completed 42 km in 4.5 hours. Please note that my budget is low.
All of these shoes are not for someone wants to go low budget ! Low budget can check with Chinese brands carbons shoes Anta or Li-Ning or you can see on Decathlon Kiprun super shoes. All of these are good options if you don’t want to spend too much
The Alphafly Next% 3 is sold out so we dont have a size 12.5 readily available but we have a size 11 in office that weighs 8.3 oz. So a size 12.5 would approximately weigh in the high 8 oz range. -Connor
I don't know bout this puma's model, but usually they're what suits my wide and thick foot lol. I would wait for the deviate nitro 3/ elite though just love the puma grip.
Either one will be fine for a 5/10k run. However, the Hoka carbon 3 will be the better option for a "5/10k RACE". The Nimbus isn't made for speed at all. It's really a comfort shoe that's geared toward your long easy runs. The Hoka is a racer shoe, albeit it's heavier than the average carbon plated racer, but it's the better option between the two. I have both shoes by the way, I hope this helps you.
@@kaaviroy4795 They both are versatile are speedy shoes but the Endorphin speed 3 will be the cheaper and lighter option. The Hoka carbon x3 is heavier but it may offer more protection in longer races. It also will offer more aggression and assistance when you are trying to pick up the pace.
@TheBsheep I'm not a runner, but I'm curious about the durability and price of those supershoes. I saw some Nike model valued at 320 USD. - What's the price range of the 8 models in the video, top to bottom like? - How long do most of them last in miles ran? - How fast does their quality degrade, are they like breaking apart, does the foam get squished and not return the energy anymore or what?
People that will buy last years shoe for a deal 👇
Brokie
Still waiting for the endorphin pro 3 to go on sale like the speed 3.
I always buy past models! Two for one to be honest haha
Bargain bug here!
ABSOLUTELY. why the hell not? You're no PRO RUNNER.

I personally use the saucony pro 4s and they are the perfect fit for me. I changed the laces to the 2XU locked laces and I have never had better

This comment was actually super helpful for me, thanks!
what makes u like it more than alphafly? also since sky paris is for stride runners does that mean alphafly is for stride runners too?
I'm very curious about the Muzuno Wave & the HOKA CieloX1
Good morning. Excellent comparison. My vote goes to Saucony Endorphin pro 4. !!!The spring is coming!!!!!. Like to Running Warehouse.
never worn Asics but only interested in Paris series; wait to come to my country
I have the sky Paris and it's way better than alphafly 3
@@faridamin2410 i believe you; Tnx for feedback; actually i try AF3 in store and do short run and don’t like them

Where are the Adidas super shoes?
Will you be getting the Alphafly 3 on 4/4? And will you have sufficient inventory?

We want the wide foot Jarrett version of this video!
I'm surprise Adidas adios pro 3 is not included
Hi, do you guys know (or are you allowed to say) when the Adidas adizero adios Pro 4 will be released?
Wish you put the cost for each shoe
No love for adios? Dont make me mention also the prime x strung
Has anyone tried the new balance SC that can tell me how they liked them

Please make the super trainer version for us the slower runners that can't wear a super shoes 😂
Definitely take a look at our best fast day shoes for some super trainer options: th-cam.com/video/AyaYObxOZyU/w-d-xo.html
What about diadora gara carbon?
Diadora Gara Carbon are very comfy fast shoes, one of the best for me.
@@jeandoux8603 so pricey but I hear great things about them. I’m slower heavier runner so they work great at different paces?

Super shoe for someone with wider flatter foot needing more stability?
Hi. Perhaps, the saucony kinvara Pro (wide version), the NB SC trainer v2(wide version) or the Altra vanish carbon 2. Cheers.
I'd give the cielo x1 a try! I have flat feet with a wide midfoot and it was an accommodating fit. Was comfy and had a crazy rocker
I don't know bout this puma's model, but usually they're what suits my wide and thick foot lol. I would wait for the deviate nitro 3/ elite though just love the puma grip.
I've used the Hoka Rocket X2 for 3 5k's and a recent 10k and they are as stable as I think a supershoe is gonna get. Super comfortable as well.
No adios prox3?
love this shoes, but sadly built quality is very poor! upper and lower separated. after a year.

What a mistake by ASICS to release 2 types of similar shoes

No new adidas marathon racers yet for 2024 but excited for what's to come from the brand! -Connor
